It seems that the game will not be shown in Saskatchewan on the regular sports channels although the Catalans v Rervers egg chasing is available - bloody great. Can anyone suggest a stream (paid or unpaid) that is available?
Gave up using streaming mate, so can't help there. Do you use Skype ? If you do, I suppose I could link up with you and set my vid & audio camera to look at one of my TV's and transmit it to you that way ? If you do use Skype, and want to test that possibility before Saturday, pm me and we can see what we can arrange. PS. I've never tried this, but technically it should work. It'd have to be set up in another room other than the one I'm using to watch the game myself. Reason is there's likely to be 6-8 of my mates around my place watching, getting pissed and generally being rowdy..so that room would probably not give you a "quality" transmission. Another suggestion, just for audio transmission, is TigerPlayer. It's 5 quid per month, and you can cancel anytime after you've paid the first monthly charge ! You'd have to suffer Burnsy & Swanny mind ! Audio transmission of the game is also likely to be on BBC 5 Live radio too ?
Good suggestion and I am looking into it but the match starts at 10 am our time. The last time I watched City in a bar was the cup final and I almost got in a fight with several young plastic ****s in red and yellow shirts who'd never been to a game in their miserable lives but were "dedicated Arsenal fans." Dedicated arseholes, more like! They'd get on well with all the ****s around here wearing Man U, Man City, Chelsea, Barca, Real etc. shirts. Fortunately, I had a minder in my son who is a body builder and pretty intimidating.

As to your mates being rowdy it may not be a quality transmission but possibly an interesting experience I subscribed to TigerPlayer for one season but cancelled because I couldn't stand the crap commentary. Unfortunately, I am the lone Tiger in this neck of the prairies!
It certainly will be interesting. 3 lads from Hull (non-plastic supporters), 1 ex-Leeds Utd player (whose father lived in Melton for quite a while), 1 Londoner (who was on Brentford's books way back when and played for Montreal Olympiques when Souness played for them), 2 Scots, and 1 poor sod who's from Sheffield & supports the Wendies. Oh aye, a German from Hamburg who's a Liverpool fan (Keegan connection naturally). The 5 non-Hull born mates are indoctrinated by the 3 Hull lads & I suppose City are their 2nd team, so pity the lad from Sheffield ! No beer for him, regardless. Hope you find a bar carrying the game - I suppose no beer available during the match. A bugger that. Let me know how you get on.
