Benfica, Uniao de Leira, Porto, Chavs, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Chavs again.

Thats all his managing career so far, he has never stayed/lasted longer than 3 years at any of them. It will more than likely be the same at utd.

He was at Chelsea for over three years for his first stint (was sacked around September in his fourth season)

He was also technically at Real Madrid more than three years too (appointed in May but left in June)

    so?

pep will only stay the same at city....

its up the the club to succession plan and keep the rest of the club going... the utd set up must be robust so that u21s don't go to pot, scouting is managed properly long term and so forth and so on.

On the heels of spending 600,000,000 on wages the past 3 seasons and averaging 18 points per season from the top spot during those 3 seasons , I don't see Mourinho's ego , along with the egos of their overpaid and underachieving players , amounting to much more than a total collapse of responable decisions . Could be wrong but I hope not .

A transfer kitty of that size doesn't bode well for the young aspiring talent coming out of the OT factory - they will love his trophies but will only tolerate his style. The biggest irony of this is that Van Gaal was Jose's mentor at Barcelona.

A transfer kitty of that size means we can strengthen where we need to (CB, midfield, RW) how does it impact on our young talent?

EDIT.......We do actually have some very promising midfielders coming through so it may hold them back a bit.

With who we have to cover, yep it wouldn't be too bad. I might consider Rashford for RW in place of Lingard though.
