This will be a very one sided game like these games always are. The shame is, Barca will dominate this game. A regular occurrence in these games, is that Utd start well and dominate the first 10 mins but after that Barca have the next 80 mins. As everyone knows, Barcelona are by far the best team in the world and my honest predictions for this game is: 3.1 or 2.0 Barca. Any other predictions?: My reasons for my predictions are quite simple. In the CL final in May they dominated us and should have put 4 or 5 past us. They now have Sanchez but he may rest. Thiago has been very impressive and will make a mockery of our midfield. Lets not forget the rest of their world class team.... They are a team of world class players and any team who faces them asks "how many". I believe Barca will reply with 4 or more against us but I believe we may score one, maybe Rooney? He Rooney has looked sharp and may score. If they don't score or even beat us, it will be because they won't play any of their usual 11 or they are taking it easy.
So if we lose it's because Barcelona are the best team in the world, if we win it's because they let us win? Why on earth you keep up this act of being a true United supporter is beyond me, but I'll give you credit for your persistence.
Oh give it a rest. I am Utd fan but I know a class team when I see one. Anyways a player I hope plays today is Thiago. Wonderful talent and a joy to watch. Barca are mesmerizing with their passing. Yup man united will probably lose as barcalona is the best team in the world, nothing to be ashamed of and its only a freindly so it hardly matters for you guys. but personally i hate watching barca play, its so boring watching them pass it back and fourth deffender to midfielder to pass back to deffender, but thats just me.
Their passing may be top class but their playacting and the way they surround the ref at every opportunity while their subs harass the 4th official (if you watch La Liga week in week out you will see this happens all the time) is embarassing, it doesn't surprise me one bit that Mourinho spoke out about it towards the end of last season, I'm only surprised many more haven't did it before him.
Barca will be without both Messi and Sanchez due to their international involvement but with Thiago and Dos Santos and Xavi and Inesta and Villa and Pedro, they will still win comfortably. Finding out this knowledge, I will change my prediction to 3.1 or 2.0.
Man Utd and Mourinho are hardly whiter that white. We have players who dive e.g Hernandez, Rooney and Nani. Our manager often disrespects refs and we also surround the ref, remember Spurs game and Blackburn game last season? This is normal in football. Bit hypocritical to criticize another team for doing such acts when we do it ourselves.
The Spurs game we had about 3 or 4 players round the ref and it hardly went unnoticed, Barce literally have about 9 players often including the keeper who runs 60 yards to join in and nobody seems to even mention it and this happens so often, and diving to win free kicks is bad enough, but Barce dive then surround the ref with the intention of seeing a red card, nothing to do with actually winning the free kick.
Call yourself a Utd fan? Should every team give in when they play Barca? Show some balls! I am all for being realistic but all your posts are so negative I don't understand your intentions. Sure Barca may beat us 9 times out of 10 but the reason Utd have been successful all these years is because of their never say die spirit and as you do not seem to share this judging by your posts, I fail to see what you get from posting on this forum apart from winding people up.
If being realistic is offensive to some, then I am sorry. However, I look at things neutrally as that is the fairest way.
I have no problem with you being realistic but it's the constant tone of your posts that make me question your loyalties. There's no doubt Utd are up against it versus Barca, but making out that they have no chance is completely wrong as if that was true why play at all. Barca are human and so can be beaten!
Why play at all? We should play even though we know we will lose because we can learn from such a great team.
No you don't, your always negative when it involves United, most of the stuff you (or your banned account) post is not even close to "neutral".
Ok. Realistically Barca are better than United. But United are better than Wolves, West Ham and Liverpool. Didn't stop all three of them beating us at some point last year. If Barca play as well as they did in the CL final they will almost definitely win. But they didn't play that well against Arsenal, Real and any number of other clubs last season. It's football - anything can happen.
