The game at the Mem pre-season usually is an attractive fixture...Championship or lower Prem. I hope there's a match such as that still to be announced.

In the above Swansea article, it mentions.... "Our pre-season schedule is almost complete, but we anticipate announcing at least one more high profile game in the next week or so."
We haven't had confirmation of the other high profile friendly as yet. I wonder if this is because of the doubt of the Manager

Its going to be a boring next 7 days or so. Taken from the Post.... Wael Al-Qadi and his board are finalising their plans for next season – both on and off the pitch – at a specially-arranged summit in Jordan this week. Al-Qadi invited chairman Steve Hamer and directors Michael Cunnah and Mike Turner to meet up with along with brothers Sami and Hani to talk summer recruitment and to discuss progress on the on-going plans to finance and finalise a deal to build a new stadium at UWE. Recruitment plans were put on hold last week as Leeds United courted Rovers manager Darrell Clarke until he decided to commit his long-term future to the club on Friday by agreeing a three-year-deal. The board has yet to sit down with Clarke for detailed discussions on what he'd like to do in order to make sure Rovers are competitive in League One next season but it is understood that he wants to add four or five new players to his squad. The number is dependent on how many of the existing out-of-contract members of his squad agree to the new terms they have been offered. So far only Steve Mildenhall of the 14 players who are out-of-contract has put pen-to-paper on a new deal. Finance director Steve Brookfield has taken responsibility for dealing with that particular on-going situation, but, with several administrative staff currently on holiday, it is unlikely that there will be any further additions to that list before the end of the week. Manager Darrell Clarke is also scheduled to leave for a short break in the United States tomorrow and is not expected to be back at the Memorial Stadium until the middle of next week when he will meet with Hamer to go through the issues that are currently being discussed between the directors at Al-Qadi's home in Jordan.
