Tel, Whilst I agree the quality isn't brilliant it's the relentless week in week out of that league, not many midweeks where you can put your feet up and relax You need players who going to roll up their sleeves and dig in, other than Lascelles and Colback I don't see many others. Media are already saying his 'better' players want away, Sissoko, Windjammer, Jammat and Townsend are all mentioned as want away. He needs to persuade some to stay, get some players with backbone cause the players he has showed in no uncertain terms that when it came to showing some balls they were sadly lacking. We will have to wait and see how things pan out.
Like I said a few weeks back mate, their season will rest on who stays and more importantly who leaves because they have to leave early and be replaced. I don't know who will stay but yeah, Sissoko, Wijnaldum, Janmaat, Cisse, Tiote... that lot I'd say 100% will be gone. I just don't agree that he won't be cut out for managing in the Championship, I think if he gets his squad together early enough and with a few additions as you say, sleeves up, graft mode on... then I think they'll walk it.
