I'd never argue that you're more passionate, as a fan base than I am personally, I don't claim to be a die hard fan, I've got more important things in my life than a bunch of men who get paid to kick a ball about, (not suggesting you don't). There's about 2.7 million people in Greater Manchester and there's two big clubs and some smaller ones. I wouldn't call them fans, more like people who turn up to their stadium just to show they don't support United. We've got the most fans, no doubt about it, but go to a NY game or a Knicks game and the crowd is full of tourists, it's a bit like that at our ground at times, especially cup games. It's a tourist attraction to come and watch a game here, I wouldn't call them fans but if they're buying genuine merchandise, we can't complain. As for the best fans, that's down to quality, one thing we know for certain is we can discount City and Chelsea.
