I'd take one dull PL win next season... just to get that feeling. I think 25 years of waiting, the joy it'll bring on that 1 day will out do any joy of 38 entertaining games.

You misunderstand my point. I'm not saying I don't want us to win the PL, obviously I do. I'm saying I'd rather we didn't if it meant having Mourinho in charge! With Klopp, we can do both :)

    Didn't miss understand at all.

If Klopp get's us 30 1-0 or 2-0 wins which are pretty dull games... yes it won't be that exciting to watch the actual football.. bu the build up, to each game towards the end will be exciting and the excitement of actually winning a league will make up for the boring games for a season in my opinion.

It's different for teams that are have won it a few times, for example Celtic can't win the league playing boring football as fans are used to it anyway. For us, I'd take 1 horrible boring title win

Nope. I want that long awaited title win to be done in style! Couldn't stand the football under Houllier despite him winning trophies.

Each to their own. The joy of actually seeing my team win it for first time will give me enough joy to last all summer and most of the next year, counteracting the boring football.

Ideal world, we do it playing awesome football obviously, and it's not a choice of one of the other.

First off anything klopp gets us won't be by crawling through.

He might solidify the defense but he's going to go for the throats

Mourinho time after time after time has shut chelsea down at 1-0 and often they slipped up. I've never understood why.... sometines it's necessary but he's done it in first bloody half at times.

And it's not like it didn't cos chelsea in past 3 years. It did.

I however find certain ex Utd players a bit much... waffling on about the Utd way like as if such a thing existed before Ferguson and they can simply revert to it and titles will flow.

Every time is different and clubs adapt and change. This is more about who do you have most confidence in improving most.

    City and guardiola

    Utd and mourinho

    Chelsea and conte.

I won't even add us in. We have too much to do.

I think as much as I don't really like him well.. Guardiola is the obvious answer

I don't mind a mixture and tbh I think most years it takes it to win the title.

Go for jugular when at your strongest and on form...terrify opponents that might come into a game with a dubious mentality.

But just as importantly if an evenly matched team or an off day occurs have the discipline to scrape that 1-0 or even four in a row during a dip.

Nobody wins every game in style.

Arsenal in 2004 were lauded (and rightly) but they killed team in 20mins. absolutely murdered them then sat off and controlled

Arsenal in 1991... god awful 1-0 to the arsenal. be careful what you wish for.

Ok I will give you two answers

1 the question you asked was "are you delighted to have got Mourinho"
The answer to this is yes.

2 the question you think you asked "would Mourinho be your first choice if you could have any manager in the world"
The answer to this is no.
