I don't take most of it seriously, but there's nothing like a bit of enjoyable outrage. :)

I'd be surprised. Mascherano heavily linked with Juventus and they are not blessed with CB options.

As expected, Benitez has signed a 3 year deal with Newcastle. He seems to be a fan favourite....must like what they saw even though he couldn't save them.

Probably rebuilding. Bartra isn't that good, Mascherano is old.

How much would they be expecting then for a player who's out of form, not even in the starting 11 and for some reason, dosent even make the squad for a major domestic final? And all this at a club where both the player and the manager were of same nationality. No 15 million sounds fair to me, they obviously don't rate him that highly!

I think that Depay is struggling at utd the same reason why Marcial is and why mane will if he moves there. utds tactic is to command the other teams half, they are camped in the other teams half limiting the fast breaks and not using their fast players. very seldom do utd hit teams on the break. So mane, don't go to Utd

    On Depay and Oxlade-Chamberlain:

I think Depay could be available if somebody can match what Utd paid for him. I cannot see us doing that, or breaking our wage structure for a permanent deal. Like others have mentioned, I too have a question mark over his attitude, but he is still young and no doubt has a point to prove. If he became available on loan, which isn't unrealistic, it could benefit him and us to spend a year playing regular football under Koeman, but I think Utd are unlikely to loan to a rival!

Chamberlain is more likely, and, if fit, would be a great signing for us. I think it will depend on West Ham and potentially interest from a 'Top 4' club.

One name I've not seen linked with us but I think is both realistic and a great long term prospect, is Gini Wijnaldum. Could play the Davis role, or on either wing (inside forward). Offers goals from midfield, cruicially. And would provide competition for Tadic (linked with a move), Mané (linked with a move) and Davis. Good age, huge potential, £10m-£15m - just under what Newcastle paid for him in the summer?

    Martial hasn't struggled at United?
For a 20 year old lad in his first season the league he has done really well.

Think he has 11 goals and a couple of assists, in 33ish games. Not bad reading, but a player of his quality should be getting those figures in a team that were involved in cups and finished 5th also half were scored in his first 6 games. Maybe this built abit of pressure on him but his second half of the season (when Utd were winning most games) he never really shone, was on the bench a fair bit even when Rooney was out and they were playing with Fellaini up front, the progress of rashford has also maybe affected him . Just saying that Utds system did not suit him, maybe JM will have the same affect as he had on Hazzard

Ibe is interesting, the only time he has shown his true talent was against us  If we could get him and Allen (Davis upgrade) for the cost of Lalatwatbeard, 1 happy camper I would be

Pretty sure he had a total of 25 goals and assists combined, for a 20 year old in his first season in a team that didn't play attacking football is an incredible return. Especially when he's played most of the season out on the left.

Martial isn't strugglimg though is he? He was the one bright spot in their season.

I agree Mane shouldn't go there though. Only because we could be on the brink of something wonderful at Saints.

if that's correct then it is impressive, I was looking at the league. but he is an impressive player, playing in a team that did not play to his strengths

I like the look of that Felis Silvestris and I have been watching him a lot lately. He's fast with great acceleration, will chase a loose ball all day long and never seems to tire. He's not easily intimidated and he climbs well. He will pounce at every opportunity and can be quite patient in seeking out an opportunity. Whether he'd fit or not I am not sure as he has a bit of a swagger and a certain arrogance. He has a habit of cold shouldering people so that could be a bit of a problem. However I feel he would be worth a go and he's cheap. His real weakness though is his habit of disappearing for long periods. What do others think?

He's probably on a 5 year deal so why would they sell? They'll give him a few years at least and probably won't consider anything unless someone offers above £20m.
