Last series they make will be the next one. BTW, I agree. Love Episodes. I've developed quite a liking for the Carol Rance [Kathleen Rose Perkins] character over the series. Poor girl can't get anything right, but she always has hope.

dripping, I expect. Lave Heathrow Monday, land Tuesday, Wednesday night and Thursday night in Malaysia and fly back Friday.... :(

Sad I won't get to see anything as it is my first trip to Asia, but I have to go for work, no getting out and it is a certain young lady's 14th birthday the day I land home!

My favourite character is Myra Licht for some reason - I just find her hysterical :)

The plastics industry is obviously healthy if you're making trips to the Far East, as they used to call it.

She is good, but she was getting less screen time when I last looked. I'm just trying to remember if the last series had her giving birth when there was no apparent father, boyfriend, nothing. Like she had a virgin birth or something. I'll have to do a catch-up on the series to make sure I'm upto date.

I used to love Merc Lapidus's foot-in-mouth moments when he was talking about the antics of his blind wife. Excruciatingly bad taste. ;)

Glad to see you've got your priorities right. Can't remember how many birthdays I had to apologise for when I was globetrotting .......... and you'll still get some twit who says "Oh, you're SO lucky, going to Singapore/Malaysia ......." :steam:

Singapore is great (too antiseptic for me, to be honest) - far better are Hong Kong and Bangkok ........ Never made it to KL, so good luck and try not to get wiped out. Jet lag in that part of the world is a bitch ............

Programmes = TV and radio shows.
Programs = thingies that make techy things work.

I always check I get that right too and used correctly in my post. I was referring to programs, not programmes.... I too only use one.

    Bloody Americans.

I don't mind the American spelling because it gives us the opportunity to distinguish between programs and programmes....something the Americans have denied themselves.

Wondrous joy...got a techie man coming on Friday to get my computer to talk to my printer (they've had a bit of a row). Not bad...£30 for 1 hr with no charge if he can't fix it. Can't be fairer than that. Even better....didn't get to talk to him directly, but to his nice wife who was full of sympathy with no sucking of teeth and unwanted advice. :)

I had a new lap top from work a few months back and since re-setting up the printer, it no longer shows the icon/link for scanning documents.

I was caught copying one of my stories on a works copier when the Director of Research walked in....I smiled and said, 'Sssh, don't tell anyone.' I made my escape before he worked out that he was the most senior person, so who would he tell. Sometimes you just have to front it out.

P.s. I was in my twenties with long blonde hair. :)

On the off chance any of you lot are going to Glastonbury this year, Fable is playing the Shangri-La Hell stage at 22:20 on the Saturday night.

    So it's Fable or Adele.

    Your choice.
