You can't expect me to pass over this casual stereotyping, surely? This board is brilliant because there are so many witty intelligent people on it. Yes, FLT, I'm including you! However, some of the best discussions I have about football and life (if these can be separated - discuss) are at away grounds with like minded people who support other clubs. Visits to Anfield and Goodison are way up on my list of places to go, and as you'll have picked up the regulars in my local watering hole tend to support one of these two clubs.

Sadly there are tossers like this guy in real life, and they are as despised by the scousers of both hues as much as we dislike them. This prat would last 5 minutes in my local pub before being advised to try out sex and travel. That's why he comes on here, I should imagine.

Saintsfan86 & SaintsAlive already established that your reason for coming on here last night was not because you had anything to add to the conversation, but because you wanted to troll us over the fact that Koeman has (as yet) not announced the signing of a new contract. You know, as we do, that he was asked directly about managing Everton next year and he replied saying no as he has 1 year left on his contract. That is the latest info.

If Koeman does go to Everton, which is possible, then fair enough. That's as much a reflection on how our team is run efficiently as a business and the fact we will have identified the next manager (an even better one) in an appropriate amount of time. We don't sign Lukaku for £28m, we don't refuse offers of £30m+ for John Stones (what were you thinking?!), and we don't tie up large amounts of salary available on ageing players like Gareth Barry.

I know why you're here, you're worried because a historically less successful club than yourself is looking like they might overtake you and claim your usual spot in the table as a regular thing. It hurts knowing that you're also jealous of Liverpool in a season when they finished 8th with no European qualification, so you can't even troll them because you're playing so badly you can't finish top half - I had £750 on that @ 11/5 before the season started by the way.

Going onto others forums calling them 'poppet' and 'lad' when you've no idea who the other person is and no connection with them is quite frankly showing that you are a keyboard warrior, a WUM, and quite immature. If you behave the same as that in person, then good luck, and enjoy getting your face smashed in.

As for your comments about my supposed jealousy and fear of Soton. You couldn't be further from the truth, I actually like your club, as with Leicester it was refreshing to see one of the smaller clubs upset the supposed 'big boys' by gate crashing the top 5 this season, and you did so playing some good football.

If you can't take a simple conversation about your manager, without pissing your kecks and asking for a ban before even engaging with me, then - with respect - a multi club forum isn't your best bet mate.

 

On reflection on reading your post I've also ignored the guy, he adds nothing of note to really enrich the conversation other than to try and rile us up.

Back on topic, Simeone Zaza would be a great fit here I think. He's a lot more than an eye for goal - works extremely hard too and a handful in the air.

If Pelle were to leave, I think forward options of Zaza, Rodriguez, Austin and Long (with the option of Mane through the middle too) would put us in a good position. Can all be affective on their own or in partnership.

The partnership of Zaza-Rodriguez could be affected accountants specialising in showbusiness.
