Okay. You don't want our manager. You don't want he has brought here. You feel happy with Everton's performance these last two years. I understand now. Tah.

Rating Koeman and being supposedly 'jealous' of Southamptons 5th place aren't mutually exclusive mate.

As I've mentioned before, despite what the papers like to speculate, Mane seems to be happy at Saints:

    http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/14507148.Hot_property_Mane_looks_ahead_to_next_season/?ref=mr&lp=8

Which is just as well because there is no way Ronald is going to let him go anywhere before the end of next season. Besides, I think Mane and Pelle have a little love/hug thing going. Sadio jumps into Graziano's arms and his little face lights up when either of them scores and Graziano squeezes the little striker to bits with affection. It also explains why Dusan may be a trifle miffed. ;)

I'm closing the thread overnight. Tobes, no offence, but I think it's time we packed it in for the night. Good luck next season.

What a great decision TSS. Well done.

Tobes is known for his virtual ever presence on the Liverpool Board and so I think he may be a little confused. It's Liverpool who are trying to be the new Southampton, not the other way round. Poor dopey Tobes.

The Mirror linking us to Simeone Zaza from Juventus as a direct replacement for Pelle. Being a Juventus fan myself and having watched every Juve game this season bar two, I would love to see him sign for us. He's an absolute battering ram and scored tons of goals at Sassuolo, before finding his opportunities limited at Juve.

Sounds exciting. Mobile battering ram or more lump of battering ram (so to speak)?

It is indeed, but clear and obvious winding up does tend to annoy the locals. Perhaps on this board of the football forum we are used to a little more decorum? It may suit your scouse brethren, but maybe not us. It says something about an individual when they go trawling on other teams' boards.

    Have a nice day.

Oh definitely mobile! Must have been frustrating for him seeing so little game time this season but he scored what I think was the most important goal of the season; a late winner against Napoli to send Juve top for the first time, where they would remain. I'm not sure how much truth there is in the rumours but he's a player I rate very highly.

    Hi guys,

Thanks to getting back to me about Gazzaniga. I hope does get some first team experience soon (even if on loan) so he can build up his confidence and show his skills. All the best for next season and good luck in the Europa League!

    http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/...-negotiations-with-koeman-over-a-new-contract

Report that Dutch paper saying Koeman not interested in Everton (quelle surprise) :) because he wants to continue with Southampton after such a good season :) and would want to sign for a bigger club than Everton when he leaves :( That's what we all know really....almost a nil chance of him leaving after the season we've had and with his past history and a snowball in hell's chance that he would go to Everton. The only bit of interest is that we are pursuing this during his holiday....cue photo of Ron's and Les's feet sharing a sun lounger. <laugh>

I'm not sure I see Ron to Everton. Undoubtedly a bigger club but I just feel it's not as much as a step up as what he would like. He knows that another good year here n he could have the proper big boys circling.

The only way I could see it happening is if Saints didn't want him continuing for last year knowing he won't stay and that Everton was only job on table.

Otherwise, I have a funny feeling he might suceed Wenger...

Delighted to be proved wrong, but my best guess is that Ron will stay next year with some fudgy statement that any talk of contracts will be delayed till January (he has already said that before everyone started chasing their tails). The club want more security and no doubt would like him to sign a 3-5 year contract. A small possibility he will sign for an extra season now as a compromise (I'd settle for that). The worse and most unlikely scenario is that the club push him out because they want the security of a manager on a longer contract (however, we all know that contracts are rarely secure at all, so I don't see that happening).

P.s. When I say the club seek security, I really mean a commitment to the plan.
