    The one in which he didn't mention Everton you mean?

    Nothing is ever certain in football, things change rapidly, signings are always fluid situations - whether players or managers.

    Would Mourinho be being unveiled at United tomorrow if West Ham hadn't scored that 3rd goal the other week? Doubt it....

    I'm not saying Koeman is going to Everton btw, just that the door ISN'T shut on the possibility. Believe it or take it with a pinch, not bothered mate, but it is what it is.

    Like I say Koeman is an honest and honourable man who has a history of seeing out his contracts, I have no reason to believe that he won't do that with us.

    Of course we don't know it is up to the club when they choose to publish information. There's no reason to think that the talks weren't positive, after all we've just had our best ever season in the EPL.

    There's equally no reason to think that they were positive, if they'd have gone swimmingly surely he'd be on the cusp of putting pen to paper on an extension?

    Our club is very private, It might shock you to find out that Media speculate a lot, Just to fill tabloid. Very seldom right when it comes to Southampton.

    No, not what I said or suggested at all.

    I think (with very good reasons) that Koeman is the man that Everton board now want. I've not said that we'll get him, just that contrary to what was intimated 2 weeks ago, he's not slammed the door on it.

    Why do people engage creatures like Tobes in conversation? Poor Everton have done nothing at all for two years and are jealous of our success. Apparently we are the only club in the EPL who can find decent managers.
