Leeds have made contact with Karl Robinson's representatives, but I don't know if they have spoken to MK Dons yet. The question is, will Robinson want to work with Cellino? I like Robinson, and he's done a great job at Dons on a shoestring budget. Cellino may well be looking at him because he is good at bringing young players through, and he can potentially get by without spending loads. However, regardless of who Cellino brings in to replace Sombrero Steve, money will need to be invested in the team. The Championship demands this. Cellino has always made his strategy clear, and he is following his Cagliari model. He likes to believe he can find "unknown" managers and turn them into stars. Therefore, we shouldn't expect to ever see a "proven" or "quality" manager at Leeds while Cellino rules the club. He also insists that it is right to develop young players and then sell them for a high profit. He did this with Byram, forcing the lad out of the club by refusing to give him an acceptable contract. Now his lack of action in securing Cook and Taylor makes you worry that they may be sold off as well, which will be just plain crazy. So, can Robinson be a success at Leeds? Can Mourinho? Can anyone? Any manager at Leeds will always have Cellino's shadow hanging over them, and his unpredictable nature is a big negative. Consistency is NOT in Cellino's vocabulary it seems.
If any of you happy clappy cnuts think this is good news we are going to fall out big time. Not as good as Evans and IMO is another Hockaday. Won't get to December if true.
Did you miss the last two words of the post you are replying to, or are you conforming to the thick paddys stereotype? Somethings going on 1/8 at the bookies from 3/1. I suggest you concentrate your energies on making more we have accept Cellino Quislinglike collaboration posts...
Apparently in a new low even for Cellino Karl Robinson has told the eytie crook to stick his offer up his arse... Going to have a bet on Evans to keep his job. The silly Cnut has no pride and deserves all he gets.... http://www.insidefutbol.com/2016/05...son-mk-dons-boss-turns-down-leeds-job/287118/ How do you say illegal approach and tapping up in Italian?

Personally, apart from money, I don't know why any manager wouldn't give it a go, it's a shot to nothing. It won't damage their reputation one iota. You either do well and get the chance to be the hero or you are just another victim of Cellino and the basket case way he runs a football club.
You either do well and get the chance to be a hero so distract from Massivego so get the sack or you do badly and get the sack. I basically think every manager is accepting the job for one of 2 reasons, the money or to still be in the job when someone sensible takes over Leeds and have a shot at staying in the job then. It's like a group of desperados playing a managerial game of Musical Chairs at Veruca Salt's birthday party - if Veruca Salt were a 60 year old Italian coke sniffing egomaniacal idiot.
Fair point, I've said similar in previous threads, to succeed at Leeds you need to know your football, be able to spot a player and make it appear it is all down to Cellino.
All due respect, it's MK Dons, not a proper football club. For all your banter, you know having Leeds on your CV is no bad thing, specially if the owner gets the blame for any failure. Seems gutless to me so not good enough for us in my book
Or to put it another way to succed at Leeds you have to be good enough that you wouldn't accept it in the first place
you are entitled to paint it in your own colour mukka but a good job at MKD is far better than a temporary job at ER
I heard on the grapevine that karl robinson has turned down leeds sometimes you cannot blame a manager in doing that even though its leeds as he might be thinking how long is he going to be in the job with cellino making decisions , i would like to see someone with more pedigree and money needs toi be spent by cellino as he is going for the cheap option again , he has got till september if no players or a decent manager such as NIGEL PEARSON
