Dont get ya knickers in a twist. I was being serious. Golf seems popular. So why not have a thread to talk about your eagles and spugies etc.
Wind conditions, temperature and humidity just with the weather. Just as an example. At my club a few years ago, I played with my youngest lad 2 days in a row. The 13th hole, it's a long par 3. On the Saturday, into wind he hit a driver into wind, onto the green, short of the hole. Next day he hit a 6 iron over the flag. And not many golfers can put the ball in the same place time after time. Pro's can struggle to do that. It's just you against the course. And the fact your trying to take money off your mates just adds to the mix. You should think about playing when you finish with football mate. Many do, it keeps your social circle going with the lads.
I'm lying by the pool scratching me arse mate. Getting me knickers in a twist won't happen till I'm back at my desk on Wednesday.
At least 18 little lasses burnt to death at a school in northern thailand. Just been on the news. A wooden building. Never stood a chance.
Shocking that mate, people take things like that for granted over here, basic needs of a human being.
no offence taken but its a harder game to play well than a lot of other sports you could mention, and no i am not biting
Golf. .....its really the marmite of sport. I totally understand why people hate it. It's me against the course and I don't have to worry about no ****er else.
It's a popular sport mate and for all ages. My father in law is nearly dead and he manages to get out on the course at least once a week. I haven't swung a golf club for months due to a recurring shoulder problem but hoping to get back playing by the end of the month and I can't wait
