I've always admired him, he's always backed his managers well and there's plenty more wealthier owners than him about.

SANTIAGO, Chile (AP) – Two lions were killed after they severely mauled a man who stripped naked and entered their enclosure in an apparent suicide attempt early Saturday, authorities said.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and was said to be in grave condition.

Director Alejandra Montalba of Santiago’s Metropolitan Zoo told local media the park was crowded with visitors at the time of the incident.

The 20-year-old man broke into the enclosure, took off his clothes and jumped into the middle, horrifying other visitors who witnessed the attack. Zookeepers killed the two lions in order to save his life.

“The zoo has an established protocol because people’s lives are very important to us,” said Montalba, adding that there were no fast-acting tranquilizers available to stop the lions from mauling the man. She said she was “deeply affected” by the deaths of the two lions, a male and a female.

An apparent suicide note was found in the man’s clothing, said Metropolitan Park director Mauricio Fabry. Witness reported he also made religious proclamations.

    ..........
    What a ****ed up story.

Suicide by lions. Thats ****ing grim.

But you gotta feel sorry for the lions. Acting on instinct. Free scran.

No idea, I doubt he'll be fetching that fit physio with him though, Carneiro, she's a tasty bit of crumpet, but she hates Jose!

    Giggs will probably leave.

Jose's running out of clubs, if he's unsuccessful at Trafford then who's next?

Who's next for United... god knows, if he fails we might as well go for Harry Redknapp.

Mourinho will choose his next job regardless.

He will do a job for a couple of years then either leave or get sacked.
Glad Man Utd won the cup as well but not as entertaining game as i had hoped for.

Well weekend done and another week in the tin hut.
As usual i had my games of golf where i shot 7 under my handicap on Saturday and won the weekend Comp.
Sunday i was in the Final of the winter knock outs and got beat on the 18th to a 24 handicapper, i had to give him 12 shots FFS :headbang:
He shot 2 birdies in the first 4 holes so i knew it was going to be a tough game, hey ho though **** happens, always next year.

You get beat by a 24 handicapper, who shot 2 birdies! Can happen to anyone.

You shot 7 under your handicap in a club competition!

    You bandit! :bandit:

one of those games that just went well, everything just clicked into place, stood on the 17th tee 1 over par then bogeyed 17 and triple bogeyed 18.....was pissed off at that :emoticon-0121-angry
Got beat in the knock out despite being 1 under my handicap, so if anything the 24 handicapper was the bandit, dodgy twat :bandit:

There's no physical requirement for Golf and there's no tactics apart from whacking the ball towards the hole, and then when you get close, tap it down the hole.

It shouldn't even be a sport, it's stupid.

It is a waste of a decent walk, mind, having to carry stuff with you and whacking ya balls about a bit :emoticon-0105-wink:

It's the hardest sport there is! You can play the same course everyday for a year and every round will be different.

I've tried it, mate. Well I went on a driving range once but no **** told me about 'golfing gloves' and I came off with a big **** off blister on my hand.

I got bored after about 5 minutes. There's only so many times you can see how far you can hit a ball before it becomes tiresome.

The idea of getting out for a day with the lads when the weather is like this, has appealed to me and I have thought about playing, but I doubt I ever will and I maintain it's not really a sport without any physical endurance or any real tactics required.
