They've only got one song! But it's a belter

I've said it before but why oh why can't we get a song going like this,

 

'Cos we don't come from Leith?

 

Any song sounds good when sung by everyone. To me I think that songs a bit depressing!
"My heart is broken, sorrow!"
Where did Can't help falling in love with you come from anyway?

 

It's not though.

It's a touching love song from a man to his bonny lassie, thanking her for saving him and thanking God for giving them both life.

Oh, and for occasionally making it sunny in Eastern Scotland too.

 

It must be the Scottish twang that does it for me then!

That city song posted on hear a while ago should of been ours as it was a good anthem which meant something. I have always thought that there should of been a concerted effort by the fans to find a definitive area for the singers amongst us. My preference would be the north stand as this is seen by more of the ground than the east. Hand out the lyrics to the song every game and make it part of the match day experience and it will catch on.

 

The repurcusions from the cup final trouble has affected them in different ways. The Leith Police dismisseth three.

 

The last time we were in the play off final we sang cant help falling in love with you before the game in the build up whilst Bristol city sang that I am a cider drinker but what is it this time cant help falling in love again

 

Let's hope not- half the clubs on the country think it's their song.

We used to sing "Sweet Molly Malone" at BP.

 

True - although that is one song The Housemartins didn't write

 

They haven't got much to sing about in sweaty land but that is superb, City fans can't muster more than 5,000 in three stands singing, someone please find a song unique to Hull City, let's all sing it so no one else can copy it, like we copy everyone else's

 

The Housemartins' rendition is the most cringeworthy ****e ever.

 

Jaunty little tune and suits the club to a tee.

 

We should sing she wore an amber ribbon, we used to, Arsenal sang it in the final (yellow ribbon).

 

Surely we could manage H.U double L C.I.T.Y.

Getting louder as it's repeated.

 

So did the fans of every other club.
