Yes I wonder what a prawn sandwich costs at Wembley? Make sure you take your credit cards.

I'll be taking my own water and sandwiches. I absolutely refuse to buy stuff in these places and I don't care if this is a special day out or one off or whatever. It is usually so rediculously expensive to be a crime to charge it. I will grab something in Wembley but probably not around the ground either. My missus is always having a go at me for not just doing it. She says I spend a fortune on the kids still and grandchildren and seldom on myself. Trouble is old habits die hard.

I read a message on Sky sports news today that said Wotton and Cook had been fined £500 each for their handbags thing. Trouble is it went on the call Wotton the Argyle Manager. Do they ever get anything right outside the premier league. More to the point do they really care.

I read somewhere that plastic bottles aren't allowed to be taken in to Wembley....only drinks in soft containers.....that would create a plasic bottle mountain outside of Wembley.....and a lucrative drinks market inside the ground.

There is a pound shop on the way to Wembley Central I remember from last visit to that area. I will just drink what I have on the way and buy a couple of cheap ones for on the way back. Or pop into Tesco on the high street and get a bottle of something stronger if we have won.

sensible......you shouldn't be wasting your time reading Sky News (that's for Lindy).....read the BBC news they called Wotton a coach so they got it right.

This next week is going to seem like an eternity. I wish I could just do a Rip Van Winkle until next Sunday.

Just been up to the club and bought a couple of Argyle Wembley scarves. Packed up there with all sorts of stuff flying off the shelves which should be a good money spinner for the club. Resisted the temptation to buy anything else (just) as I have found my 3 flags from the 96 match and we be taking them in the hope that history is repeated -although I would prefer a less tense scoreline!

I assume they haven't been playing them all season if they got to this stage then. My middle son was born in Gillingham poor sod but we managed to move away before he was old enough to know. I hope they play those 4 for the final and give us a dead cert finish. I've seen your betting prowess on the Wycombe board brb so I know how good your predictions are....(please don't look at our's)<yikes>

Thanks PGFWhite we need all the support we can get. I've been to Swansea as well in my Navy days and it's much nicer than Gillingham.....

I spent a few years in Plymouth as a student many years ago so have fond memories of the City. It's changed a bit over the years and Diamond Lils is no more :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Well I've no doubt Swansea has altered a tad as well. I remember going to a club for boxers in the afternoon when the pubs closed as they did in them days. You could carry on drinking there. It was 1971 after all. The other thing was a pub on a sort of Island in the middle of a road in a square. Can't remember what it was called now but then again I seldom remember if I've had my dinner these days.

As far as I'm aware they have been playing them all season, Bayo, Fuller and Barcham were all decent players for us, Barcham I rated as one of our best left wingers and personally I believe we've never truly replaced him after he moved to Championship side Scunthorpe during their relegation season I think it was.

Fuller (right back) I used to refer to as pitbull, your soon find out why, unless he picks up an early yellow.

Bayo, well i think most people know the tank, watch them balls coming over the top, either a headed goal, or chest down, back to goal, one touch, feeding the open space for who ever latches on to it. It's possible he might not start but be sure he will take a part.

As for prediction I really wouldn't want to call it.

yeah I looked at your results, that's why I couldn't call it - how do your lads play, over the top or on the ground?
