you can spend £59 million on a player then spend another £100 million on other players. so the another doesn't mean you spent that amount in the first place?

Others like my good self rely on media outlets and the vast majority of those say its somewhere between £250m and £300m, of course I welcome any evidence to the contrary you might have?

Depends how long he lasts. It took him until 21st of November to win 4 league games last season. It took Van Gaal until 20th of September.

As for the tony pulis comment, has he won the league? Did you ever watch Mourinho's Real Madrid side play? I think ppl like to believe the stereotype of Mourinho but deep down they know he's a better, more versatile manager than they want to admit publicly.

Since Liverpool last won the FA Cup they've spent £607m gross and £211m net.

To be fair they have also won a Coca Cola Cup in the meantime.

In the same period of time United have spent £597m gross and £301.75m net. They've only managed to win 5 league titles, 1 FA Cup and 1 European Cup for the extra £90m net spend (I'm assuming we're working on net spend as it's less embarrassing for Liverpool).

Shame!
