    Yellow...because he was trying to play the ball. It was a tangle...to give a red it would have to be obviously just taking the man out. Couldn't give it on this occasion...unless you were clairvoyant.

    TBH, even with the old rules, it's debatable that it's a red anyway. There was another defender there.

    True and as it's a friendly he's not gonna get a red anyway. But inevitably it will become never a red inside the area. And if that's what they wanted, they should have just written it.
