OK need a bit of advice, driving down next weekend and trying to figure out where to park. Don't really fancy parking at Wembley, took ages to get out last time.
Heard parking at Watford and taking train is pretty easy. Needs to be easy as my 4yr old is coming too.
    Thanks in advance fellas.

I still think parking next to Wembley is best in the official away car park - you can keep stuff in car easily accessible and after game plenty of bistros, cafes, restaurants for something to eat whilst everyone else disappears - then straight out after 90 mins,/ 2 hours no bother whatsoever - but shhhh, everyone will do it

    Definitely.

Used that before, about a mile or so from the stadium, it was straight in straight out and only cost a rennet.

    Try www.parkerscarparks.co.uk.
Parking is at chalkhill primary school which is 5 mins walk from Wembley.
£15 cars, £30 mini buses. No problems getting in or out.
Used it for both fa cup visits.

High Wycombe railway station. Big double level car park and trains go direct to stadium about very 20-30 minutes.
Takes about half hour to get there.

That's what I'm going to do. I usually have something to eat in Central London and then get tube but this time I'm parking in the official car park and might get something from the takeaways that are overpriced but don't have big queues.

I've parked at Watford before and then got the train to Wembley. About 30 minute train ride to get to Wembley. As for getting away, centre of Watford is only about 5-10 mins from the M1.

I've done that last (all) three times - get there early enough and you can drive straight in - think its about £30 to park but highly recommended

Park on drive is what I'm doing just round the corner from Wembley 10 minute walk £20 and a quick getaway. Did it for both cup games and would recommend.

Why are you bothered about the North Circular, you're only on it for a mile or so, it's no biggie?

It does for a short way if I remember rightly but didn't get stuck in any traffic.
I just drove down to the end of the A1 then followed Satnav. If you know the area or come in from a difrerent direction you could no doubt find an alternative route which avoids the north circular.

Stanmore is not far off M1 and you could park on side streets a few mins walk from station. Wembley Park is a few stops down Jubilee line.
