Is anyone still having problems getting tickets or have we sold our lot now? At a guess it looks like we've sold between 15-20k. Decent turnout that given the circumstances, more than I'd expected.

    This has been posted elsewhere:
As I posted elsewhere, the statement from Ticketmaster to us was that the the problems lie with Hull Citys IT servers. Ticketmaster could see all our details but not access our account, so we could not be allocated tickets. It took 3 calls to Ticketmaster to get that information, as we given resolution times of 5pm, 6pm and then not sure, "we are waiting for Hull City to sort it out". Finally got ours at 7.45pm last night after nearly 6 hours at the pc! We were also told that over 5,000 accounts are affected!

The problem I had was my customer number. I have an old one, my Mrs has bought me tickets & Nothing was coming up with them, so I had to ring up the ticket office to get my number, once in it was easy. Just a pain prior to that!

Nah, any potential new buyer that has looked at Hull City will be well aware that the current lack of support is entirely down to the current owners and their contempt for their 'customers'. The potential for much greater support had always been there. Treat fans right (drop the rebranding, bring back the concessions so that kids, families and seniors can afford to go) and they will reap the rewards. Thousands of fans have deserted the club and will only return when the Allams move on. Remember, not so long ago, we got about 22,000 fans to watch City v Swansea in the 4th tier and had to turn fans away. The negative attitude is not really amazing at all - it's entirely understandable and is directed at the owners. The support for the team remains healthy - the support for the owners is the polar opposite as they continue to drive fans away.

Full of part timers and day trippers. The sit down shut up types will be at large in the Wesnesday end causing aggro with their proper fans who wish to stand up and support the team. Sadly we know that all too well after experiencing similar ourselves. Wembley draws all the cretinous big day out ****ers out of the woodwork.

At least our support there will be proper fans and no one will be whinging that they can't see and they haven't paid how ever much to stand up or look at the back of someone's head. Thank **** we and the Hull rugby clubs have been to Wembley a good few times over the last few years and that passionless lot can't be arsed to tag along anymore.

They've only sold 2,500 today (up to 27,500), it will be funny if the ****ers don't even sell their own allocation.

they've only been able to purchase one ticket each so it's not a bad effort.

I was being facetious, they'll obviously sell their allocation, but the ****ers have been banging on about them not even reaching general sale for the past week.

If that's the case they are idiots because it must be difficult to sell a lot given the rules. A lot of fans will want to go with friends and family even if they are not fans but they couldn't sit together unless they risked general sale.

I just remembered what happened after Arsenal away in the FA Cup. A BBC camera crew asked my mate what he thought of the match and he came out with some fantastic insights. For some reason the reporter asked him to repeat what he said but he said: "No, I can't remember what I said!"
