Hibs and rangers fans identified as attacking others fans should be fined and banned from football

Hibs fans identified as attacking Rangers players and staff should face criminal prosecution.

However , any talk of taking the Scottish cup win or banning them from Europe is nonsense

Under current regulations, clubs are able to avoid sanctions by arguing that they had taken "reasonably practicable" steps to avoid unacceptable behaviour from fans.

Hibs can't be punished inless it is shown they failed to control their fans, the buck stops with the SFA who seem to have paid for desperately inadequate policing/stewarding. I have heard a thousand police and stewards were on duty, does anyone here think that was ever going to enough to control a crowd of 50,000?

Me neither.

It would have been more than enough if people had shown some dignity and remarkable restraint. And kept to the script.

When Motherwell got punished for a similar action, it was because it took place at Fir Park and stewarding of the game was down to them.
