@Cally–Messi decided to wish his 3 "brothers" Zaha, Bolassie and Puncheon good luck on Twitter yesterday before the Cup Final.

When I say "good luck", he used a phrase I was not familiar with along the lines of "rip them innit" <doh><doh><doh>

A few Charlton fans then took it upon themselves to remind Harriott of the history between Charlton and Palace, not in the least bit offensive to begin with from what I could see- prompting Cally Messi to Block every one of them (me included)

Cally Messi has also deleted reference to being a Charlton player from his Twitter account <cheers>

Too big for his luminous boots IMO and 4/5 good games a season doesn't entitle him to half even half the go he possesses.

It's social media, you want him to be responsible for his tweets and the reactions others have to them.
Well it's a two way street, he is as entitled to be pi55ed off by your tweets and those of others and block those he doesn't want to see.

It's all a bit pathetic because social media is a kiddies plaything and therefore it's not a place to expect mature considered responses. But if you think any player has an affinity with any club these days forget it. It's big business and there is so much money in it that loyalty does not exist.

Chippy's right. But I still think Harriot is a c**t.

Just one of many rank average footballers stealing a living these days...!!

Just to round off a **** season, my other team is about to get relegated. Lee Clarke will probably get the blame but my spies tell me that the previous manager brought in a load of **** players and Clarke was a mug for taking the job. He said before he took the job that he had to make sure that his next job had to be the right one. If he's daft enough to take the Killie job, maybe he'd be daft enough to take the Charlton job?

Killie 4-0 up, 4-1 aggregate. Hands off Lee Clarke, more like we'll end up with Simon.

i got blocked by harriott years ago. he tweeted something like "f*ck my neighbour for having a password on his wifi. God said 'love thy neighbour'". as a joke i said "he also said 'though shall not steal'". blocked.

just another one of those footballers who says they believe in god when they want something, and forgets religion when they're off their t1ts in nightclubs groping women. (he has prior with the whole cheating footballer thing)

This believe in God speeches that sportsman namely boxers make do my head in ...Tyson fury typical will rabbit on about my lord Jesus Christ then come out with the most obscene rants it's all cobblers.
As for Harriott he blocked me on Twitter ages ago he has a blocking culture for very little offence which is his right.
His praise of Palace was naive and stupid at very least I class it as an affront of every single Charlton fan .
He's from Croydon hangs out with Zaha and co but his tweet shows no respect for the fans who support the club who pay his wages .
Sadly we live in an age where players couldn't give a toss for fans or the clubs they play for no loyalty at all.
Could you imagine Hales ,Gritty doing such a thing.

We live in an era where we can instantly read the thoughts of any idiot. Who knows what Hales etc would have said if they had Twitter.

To be honest, while I think it was a fairly crass comment, you have to be honest- these days a lot of people tweet before they think (some of them are obliged to by having no thought process worth mentioning). It's why I have never gone near twitter. apart from reducing human conversation to the level of birdsong, which is maybe appropriate to people who thrive on Celebrity Big Brother and other virtual reality garbage, as they have such pointless lives, it often seems to have gone beyond a point where we have evolved to use it. Some people simply have to belch out the most trite garbage, often crassly offensive (didn't someone get thrown out of the Olympics for a comment about the holocaust after having been beaten by an Israeli? - unique!) and whereas before they would do it with their mates in the pub, who would agree or argue but usually be fairly unfussed, these days it gets to go public and as Katrien seems incapable of understanding, everyone hears it if they want to.
As I said, this comment was rubbish from a footballer who has grown up at the Valley and should have known full well how comments favourable to Palace would go down with 'his' fans. The problem is he is daft enough to make the comment knowing full well where it will end up. If you are that idiotic, why go on Twitter? Get your ass down the pub where it belongs and tell the landlord how you feel.

Footballers these days have nothing in common with fans, as a result they don't fratenise with fans.
Of course London based players are going to mix and become mates. it happens in the North West too.
Scum, Citeh and the Bin dippers all live in the Cheshire triangle and are always out together. There was nothing wrong in him wishing his mates the best...........

You guys need something real to moan abut.... I would have thought you had plenty to choose from but apparently not?

After 2.5 years of the Belgian Madhouse it gets a bit repetitive. For instance, our head of ticketing, one of the senior management team, has resigned a few minutes ago, leaving yet another vacancy, but this sort of thing is so commonplace now.

Mandy and I have been in e mail correspondence in recent days about her sloth in arranging my Burnley ticket refund. My language was rather florid and I am hoping it tipped her over the edge <cheers>
