The way I see it LVG has done in two years what it took SAF five years to do, win a trophy, you should be grateful.
his passing were poor at times we needed him more in the box at time but in all fairness, he was the fire that ignited our engine to come back, believe and win it
If he stays then it's worth it, far better to win a cup than have him sacked for not winning one, regardless of what some think.
What a week! Couldn't have got any better!!! First the RS collapse to miss European football completely And United win the FA cup in dramatic exciting fashion to equal the record number of wins.
That's not really what I mean. I think he probably should/will go but there were some things being said (don't mean on here as such) along the lines of 'would you accept defeat in the cup final if it guaranteed van Gaal gets the sack?'. To which the answer is definitely no.
Landed 4 in the end. Got two extra this morning so took my son's mate and my brother as well. Result.
I don't want to derail the thread or take the shine off an FA Cup win but seeing as you were quoting me, there was very little about that goal which had anything to do with being a CM. If anything it shows why he's better as a number 10 or playing anywhere in the final third. In terms of 90% of the role of a CM he was a liability today tbh.
If true, I wish him well especially for the FA Cup but he was simply the wrong man at the wrong club in the wrong era.
Come on man. You are difficult to please. Rooney together with Rashford was just class today. He may be better under another manager or in another role but I would always play him as long as he can play like that.
Rashford was very good, as was Wazza apart from some comedy passes into touch. Looking forward to the highlights....now.
I'm only responding to exroofer quoting me. That game could've gone either way except for a moment of magic by Rooney where for an instant he turned the clock back 10 years, and Lingard finding the perfect time to find his shooting boots! I'm absolutely delighted for the win. But CP were **** and our football was still unnecessarily pedestrian against a side like that.
