    1.55 Hay RED VERDEN

Also I think the boys in blue will have a good day with the following:
    4.00 Good ROMANTIC VIEW
    1.50 New DENINGRY
    2.55 New YATTWEE
    3.30 New LINGUISTIC

Red Verdon looked incredibly impressive at Haydock in the first - I would send it for the King Edward at Ascot as this looks Group class.

Didn't back it myself but a cracking run by Educate there. Roto will be very pleased with that at a massive 16/1

Well done anyone that actually got their money on Mount Logan at Goodwood (especially those that tipped it). Due to a tardy escape from the office I got to the bookies after they had gone a furlong so never had a dime on it. The race was not run how I expected (thought Mr Singh would try to make all) but no idea why Bateel was so heavily backed.

Have to hope that I can get on Galileo Gold later on if the price drifts...

I cannot believe what I'm seeing at the Curragh.

Peppermint has been spooked by Thunder and lightning on track, has done a lap of the Curragh, jumped a railing, evaded 3 cars and 3 blokes and observed the motorway from behind a fence. Withdrawn you think?

No. Chris Hayes hopped in a jeep to track her down and has jumped on her again!

Perhaps she needs this run as a stepping stone to Royal Ascot?!

It is time that they brought in a rule to stop this sort of nonsense.

I know that betting is caveat emptor but if you put your bet on this morning on the way to work, 99.9 per cent of the time a horse that has thrown the jockey and gone for a pre-race saunter does no good in the race and no sensible punter would have a dime on. It should be automatically withdrawn.

In Britain, if a loose horse crosses the winning line it is automatically withdrawn. In a false start, horses crossing the line are automatically withdrawn; hence the jockeys try to pull up.

I am sure we all remember the Prix de l’Abbaye when it was a false start (one stall did not open) and the Hungarian ‘wonder horse’ Overdose won but then the race was re-run (in virtual darkness) after the last race and Marchand d’Or won with Overdose not in the field.

Awesome from Un de Sceaux. Destroyed them. Where to next year then? Back to hurdles for a World Hurdle bid???

Didn't realise Footpad won. Nice double for Ruby & Willie.

I wouldn't take him to Cheltenham Beefy, not sure it is his track. Winter ground races over either hurdles or fences at anything up to 2m6f should see him mop up plenty of Grade 1s. Biggest challenge would be keeping him away from the Ricci superstars <laugh>

You could be spot on Oddy. Always just enjoy trying to suss where these go early on and of course the first thing we think of is Prestbury Park at March.

I see O'Brien crying about ground for Air Force Blue. Another Gleneagles type saga no doubt. Just retire the fecker Coolmore, we all know thats what you want to do! Save the histrionics.

Rats!!! I should have done Profitable. Since I mentioned Waady being unbeaten over five furlongs, he has lost twice!

What is wrong with the ground at The Curragh? Perhaps he is trying to kid the bookies into pushing the odds out for The Lads...
