It's sort of that, but really the more important thing for the club is that they don't have to spend any of their own money on selling tickets Outsourcing it means all the costs (and much more) are paid by each person who buys the ticket through their 'booking' fee It's just another cost cutting measure
Sheff wed have outsourced it too. There's no way most clubs' ticket office could handle a game of this scale with such a short on sale time.
You just answered the question I was going to post, I wasn't sure whether the corporates were already included, as I have booked 5, so would expect it would be at least 5000.
For decades getting tickets for Hull City games wasn't an issue because we were never involved in any games that needed a ticket. Personally I thought the ticketing arrangments for our first visit to Wembley in 2008 were a nightmare. Queuing all night around the stadium and then finding out that people were buying them online from their own front rooms by making up a customer reference number. It was chaotic and a mad scramble. Huge sections of seating were not available, or already sold, despite being stood in a queue for 12 hours and more. Then the away ticket policy for 2008/9 which you all seem to have forgotten about was equally shambolic. Loyalty meant zilch and if you wanted an away ticket you had to rely on your name being pulled out of the hat alongside someone who had been 'supporting' City since May 24th 2008. At least the club have attempted to rectify the situation. Seems to be a lot of posters looking for excuses not to support the team at Wembley.
I think the numbers are probably roughly included in the 20k-odd that we'd sold up to yesterday, but they're not off the plan yet. I spoke to the Premier Club yesterday, they said we'd be notified of ticket details by Tuesday morning latest.
I think you prawn sandwiches have blocks 102-104. They were unavailable when we got our tickets at 9am Wednesday morning.
They'll be all over the place, we've got the option of buying in all five price bands, the same as everyone else.
Maybe reserved for players and other club staff to take their wives for a weekend shopping in London. Either way, 102-104 are part of our allocation and they've been unavailable since the beginning. Lower tier is as good as sold out.
I understand the players have bought a surprisingly large amount of tickets, so they might well be theirs.
I have virtually zero idea how these things work, but someone on owls talk, is offering a diamond hospitality package in101 with Wednesday fans, so I wonder if 102 is similar for us?
We managed it before when demand was much higher. I said the problem last time was meeting demand and prioritising. Duffen got that wrong with his 'not playing God' stuff. But they were able to sell tickets easily and no one had the problems they're having now not just with Wembley but every bloody game we sell tickets for. I'm going to Wembley. Someone else sorted my tickets and thankfully didn't have problems, but looking at twitter and on here plenty of people obviously are. If they really are looking for excuses not to go, you'd have to ask why that is and why they didn't look for excuses not to last time.
My tickets have come. Does anyone know if I should get a ticket for tiger travel and if it will come separately?
I have just logged on to my ticket master account and it is working perfectly. I tried a couple of times yesterday and I could not log on. The issues for me are with ticket master. It works one minute and not the next. There are plenty of seats available, I would say that over half have been sold.
