There's been some fantastic matches especially in Sheffield. Sheffield Wednesday were in First Division when I started going to City and I think the rivalry started when we played Sheffield United away in a night match and won round about 1970.

Battle of a Bramall Lane mate.

Est 10k City on Shorham street end that night in a 2-1 win. Skinheads aplenty after game.

Only only 3 side to Bumhole lane in those days, cricket ground on suite.

It was 1971- wrong, wrong, wrong. Your point is thus completely invalidated as there was no night game in 1970.
Castro's Coughing will be down on you like a ton of bricks.

Indeed it was, a Tuesday night ...... the ball boys weren't strolling around retrieving the ball that night!

Around that time if City werent playing or I wasn't going to away matches I'd go to interesting matches in Yorkshire or Lancashire. I went to Sheffield United v Blackburn and I was stood on Shoreham Street. There was a chant of "Rovers" coming from the right and about 500 Blackburn fans marched in. Immediately there was a shout of "Ugh, All Together" and as one the whole of Shoreham Street rushed them.
Later when I lived in London I went to Tottenham v Nottingham Forest in an FA Cup match and I went with Forest fans in Park Lane. At the end of the match the Forest fans were kept in and a big crowd of Tottenham fans stood outside waiting for them and were acting as if they were really hard. When the gates were opened the Forest fans just charged at them and Tottenham scattered in a matter of seconds!

There's obviously been some issues, but we sold a lot of tickets today, so it worked for the vast majority.

There are no funny rules, if you're on the database, you're entitled to up to six tickets, simple as that.

If you can't sort it online, call them, if they don't sort it for you, email James.

No funny rules? I phoned up and I was on the database but "not sufficient privileges" and they said they couldn't find my customer number - if that meant I hadn't purchased any tickets (although I purchased plenty) why did they even pass my details to Ticketmaster? I could get tickets online using the same customer number.
Either Ticketmaster are using TWO databases or their phone staff don't know how to read the screen although I doubt that if they even saw a "not sufficient privileges" message.
I managed to get it sorted but it was definitely due to luck than efficiency on Ticketmaster's or Hull City's part. As usual, they are blaming each other.
I don't think enough care was taken. To ensure there is integrity in the databases Hull City should send the database to Ticketmaster - which I assume they did - and then Ticketmaster should import the data into their system. Ticketmaster should then export the data from their system and send it to Hull City who should compare it to their database for any differences.
The two organisations either couldn't be bothered to make these simple checks or they don't have the knowledge to understand the simplest things about verifying data.
If the above was done there wouldn't have been any problems instead there could well be a significant number of problems which there didn't need to be. All because the people in charge weren't up to the job.

I'm sure that's correct, the taff winger (Rees?) scored for them, I think we went top, or joint top, that night ............. all downhill after that, typical City eh?

That's the City way - incredible performance followed by absolute rubbish.
I remember Reading coming to City and stringing nine men across the back near the end of the season when they had nothing to play for. They got a 0-0 draw and at the final whistle they celebrated like Sheffield Wednesday did on Monday night. There were accusations of bribery but nothing was proven.
