Don't tell me - you found out by phoning them. It's always the best way. I thought it was and I dont mind but you might get a lot of people phoning thinking they are open until 8 If the ticket line says they cant sell me a ticket I doubt the customer services can help they seem to say the minimum possible to get you over the step you are stuck on the guide that was linked to on the Hull City website was pathetic compared to the help that was available here Ticketmaster said I had to register and submit my name and address yet when I went to activate my account I had to submit my name and address etc as a separate exercise as I said earlier: why need to register and/or activate?
dont let them beat you try now online and see how you get on if you get so far ask on here what to do next if you rely on ticketmaster or hull city they will give you nonsense
I finally got through on the phone to Ticketmaster & tried to buy a ticket. When I told the bloke I only had a Customer Number & not a Season Ticket he told me he could not sell me a ticket as Hull City had not given TM the Customer Numbers. He said they have not been able to sell any General Sale tickets over the phone since 2pm today & the fault it totally with Hull City That is bollocks, there are loads of people on here who have purchased tickets today using a Customer Number ? Have I just been totally lied to by TM ?
Bought some online this afty and it asked me for the membership number etc just like yesterday when it was passholders only. No difference between screens yesterday and this afty. Dunno about on the dog and bone.
When I got through on the phone and quoted my customer number they said they couldn't find it. When I gave them my name they found me but said I didn't have sufficient privileges to buy a ticket. Yet an hour later - after trying to phone Ticketmaster customer service and Hull City ticket office I went online and thanks to help on here (which was totally different to the "guide") I got through and the same customer number was accepted. I can't say whether you were lied to but I know Ticketmaster are using contradictory data.
E mail Mooney mate. Should have given initial allocation then more if needed. This would have stopped the panic of Sheffield fans buying. They could then have sent the extra sections to the club that required them. Should have started with 28,000 for us and not **** around with all the customer number bollox.
