Probably already asked.....but why on general sale would you need a customer number? Seems bizarre when it is essentially a free for all at that point.
I wonder how you get a ticket if it is your first game, I guess there might be some who have never been before and want to experience it, and could then develop into long term supporters?
They don't, at least not for this game, they have to buy their tickets from an agency, exactly as we do.
You have to know someone else who has a customer number. On general sale people can buy multiple tickets, cant they?
But fans on their messageboards are saying they've registered successfully for a customer number with us. So if they're telling the truth then that wont work.
Registering on Ticketmaster is not the same as already being registered on our database. If you've never bought a ticket for a City game before, you can't buy one for this game (at least that's the plan).
Right, that wasnt what they seemed to be saying. Guess they'll find out when / if they try and buy one. Its not a fool proof plan. What if a Billy Nomates really fancies going to his first game ever? I get why they've done it in theory but there must be some who might catch the bug from it. Anyway, not my problem. Ive got no mates but I'm not going anyway.
It's stupid ending general sale on Monday, most people get paid last Friday of the month. How many people don't have the cash until that day? Regarding Wednesday fans, even if they got in, Wembley staff and police were pretty damn stringent at chucking enemy fans out of our side the last two times, groups and individuals alike. They didn't take any ****.
It's definately there if you log in - think there me be a your details tab. It's also on any ticket you have bought (there on my playoff tickets) or printed out apparently (not kept one to check). There's a link to something on our website - can't remember if it's to us or ticketmaster but says will help anyone who can't find it
Just logged in and found a Client Reference Number under Account details. H followed by 5 digits. I am going to assume that's the one they'll need.
