Lose in the play offs! we all know it's a sickening feeling, but that's what being a football fans all about, experiencing the highs and the lows with your club...only by experiencing those lows do you really appreciate the highs!
Of course we can all play nice and have a sensible debate occasionally but to use Wellyblue's analogy, if we have highs (sensible debates) and lows (slagging matches) then the highs are appreciated more when they come along
You know what, I don't have a problem with people wearing whatever shirt they want and watching whatever they want on tv. What gives me the right hump is when they think that because they watch a side of superstars on tv that when my team has achieved an amazing feat and competes with them in the same league, it gives them the right to have a pop at me when the expected happens and we lose to a top side. It will happen at some point this season. I get to as many games as I can at home and have travelled up and down the country (and even to Germany (Munich)) to watch my side play at times when I knew they were ****e and were likely to get beaten. But these arseholes who only chose their side when they started winning things and will be off as soon as they stop see me as some kind of lesser football fan because my side are not european champions. ****s me off. Rant over.
Being 6th favorites doesn't mean you'll finish in top 6. Teams rarely finish where the bookies think they will. You need to win matches, not celebrate because your odds re low at the bookies. No way to make money with low odds.
Possibly but I think we will take it all the way to May if we are caught up in the relegation scrap again but hopefully will not lose 6-0 on the last day to go down in such an embarrassing fashion
