Diarra will be a huge boost - though there will be a question as to his desire. This is the Harriotts make or break season - still only 21 (I think), a good season in League One with another years development could be the trigger he needs. A chance to bring consistency to his game.
I have received inside information that Reza and Pigott are among those definitely being released by Charlton. Harriott I am told will be staying for another year, as will the highly promising Dillon Phillips. I cannot reveal my sauce. - Colin Royston-Plumb
Great news that utter sh1te like Reza and Makienok have finally been shifted off our payroll. No tears shed for the likes of Motta or Fanni either. Piggot was never going to cut the mustard, even at League One level.
Fanni was the only decent one out of that load of ****e, and he was probably recommended by Diarra. That list is only the beginning though, let's see what pans out during the summer. I assume that thanking the likes of Poyet and Sanogo for their "efforts" is sarcasm at its best? I'm gobsmacked that Diarra is staying, I'll believe it when I see it.
Apparently Diawarra was behind Fanni's move. Someone said the commentator mentioned it during the burnley game - can anyone vouch? Think Suk Young was better than fox but Riga played him LM..
It seems that Diarra and Harriott have activated a year extension, this appears to be them wanting to stay rather than the club wanting them to. As expected an awful lot gone, but now the fun will start on the 1st June once players can then be sold. I'll hazard a guess of 20 carthorses will be shifted come the end of the August transfer window. Anyone fancy a game?
I hope your right. There's plenty of s**t on the 'Retained List' after all. However, I'd be amazed if we lost anyone who's got more than a year to run on their contract. I think most of them would quite relish swanning about in League One, stinking the place out on top money... F*****g W@nkers...!!
Yesterday was a start in terms of clearing out the sh1te, but there is still a long way to go. What about the dross under contract - the likes of Tucadean, Johnson, Ba, Ceballos and the leg-end that is Naby Sarr It will be interesting to see where Diego "30 grand a week" Poyet ends up next, but its safe to say it won't be in the Premier League. Didn't his Dad Gus get a managerial job in Spain last week- maybe Diego will follow him over there? Reza has Blocked me on Twitter, after I was less than complimentary to him in my farewell message
Good riddance to them. Now all we got to do, as @Royston Vasey said, get rid of the other ****. Never needing to see Naby Sarr ever play again is a good starting point. We probably need to sign now 7 to 9 decent players if we have a hope of going up. But we won't. We don't even have a manager, scout, director of football and a tonne more open vacancies.
My current team from players who could be with us next season .......................... Hendo ......................... Solly ......... Diarra ....... Lennon.........Holmes-Dennis ???? ........ Not a fan of Diarra at CB, can't influence the game from there and looks suspect at times. I suppose the drop in quality would mean he wouldn't struggle as much, but feel he is wasted there.
