Great FA final. Watched by more people all over the world than that small affair in Basel on Wednesday ;)

LVG will try to lose it as he's found out that he won't be kept even if he wins it. <whistle>

Great to see Luke Shaw back in full training with the squad. Be great for him if he could get a walk-on at the very end on Saturday -

It's a final and it's the FA cup. Like the RS say, the trip has been worth it. :)

LVG has a record of winning a trophy at every club. If it means him staying, then that trophy is NOT worth it.

    I don't understand your use of you're?

It's been a good few years since we won an FA cup, long overdue. I expect it'll kick start us on our way to a few more trophies in the coming seasons. Which will be lucky and bought, of course.

Went to the replay in 1990, got a spare ticket outside a pub in Stanmore for £30.

Very unlikely that would be the going rate on Saturday, recon you'd have to add at least a nought. Then double it.

Those were strange times, the actual fans got tickets in those days, not 'the family', as is the case now. Plus, we weren't quite so popular so it was bit easier of course.

I'm also unsure why he feels the need to put "Cup Final" in inverted commas. Of course it's our cup final. As it is the final. Of the cup. I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't be excited?

    He seems very confused...

    Correct.

A bit too obvious sticking it on an FA cup final thread.

(Roofey, I doubt you'd know this as your memory probably doesn't 'serve you well' to back that far, eh? Let's just say all three were lucky and it was nothing special <ok>)

I'd rather have Young at LB than Rojo. That really is our weakest area and I fully expect Rojo to get repeatedly skinned today.
