    This wishful thinking bu Utd fans, "Oh Saints can not only bail our club out of their horrendous error, riding us of Depay with his poorly scouted personality... they can give us the guy we should have got in return" plus throw in Jones to make it look less condescending.

    No chance with Dembele I'd guess, and wouldn't want Van Der Wiel personally.

    Unlikely because it is pretty random but I would love to sign Naby Keita from RB Salzburg, really think he could have as big an impact as Kante has on the PL.

    I would hate to lose mane, but i would be ecstatic if we bought Jones.
    He has lost his way at United, but he clearly has the potential to be a fantastic player. Give him a sprinkling of Southampton magic and watch him become one of the best CB's in the league...

    Don't think I'd want Jones. Seems very injury prone and probably on pretty high wages too.

    I would take Jones to be fair, but salary seems to be a big problem with signing players like that.

    Why in hell would anyone want to buy Phil Jones? Has no one actually seen him play recently? He may have lost his way at Utd but he is so far off the path he needs more than a compass and a map to get him back on course!

    Not as high as I thought actually but he missed 24 games through injury in 2012/13 (back and ankle), 15 games in 2013/14 (ankle, groin, knee, hip and head), 14 games in 2014/15 (hamstring, shin and ankle) and 32 games this season (calf, foot and ankle) so it's still a no.

    He would probably need the same as VVD's new contract then. Not impossible if the black box really rates him, doesn't seem like what we are looking for though.
