Can't see city selling out. 30K would be good, but know a few fans who aren't going. Can't blame them with some those prices.
Nah, I went and we nowhere near sold out but I know a lot who put their eggs in the "we'll be back for the final" basket, which we did sell out. We easily sold out in 2008 as well.
I dont get that argument either to be honest. Yes it's expensive but if desperately you want to go and the only obstacle is money then go without any other luxuries - nights in the pub, cinema, takeaway whatever - for the next 6 months and you'll easily cover it. Sorry if this sounds extremely pretentious, it feels it as I type it, and I know for some people every penny counts but that wont apply to everyone saying they cant afford it and sure enough they'll be out on Princes Ave or wherever the next weekend.
Same here mate. A lot i went with in 2008 arent bothered this time around. I wouldnt have thought this 20 years back. Still we hopefully can sell over 25,000. Wednesday will have massive demand id have thought
Actually, yeah now you mention that I was sat near a load of Arsenal fans who didnt even try to hide it. How did that happen then - people flogging on tickets for profit?
No not in 2008. The play-off final is the best chance of getting a ticket to see your team at Wembley. Other than Autoglass / LDV / JP ****e or whatever it is now.
I was on the side near the royal box and there were arsenal fans all round us In 2008 I tried to get the Club Wembley tickets for £99 but the blocks kept selling out when I was at Wembley I saw Club Wembley looked a bit boring so I dont think I will go for them this year
why will Wednesday have a massive demand and 'a lot you went with in 2008 cannot be bothered this time' ? Cannot be bothered to support your team at Wembley?? FFS what do you want ?
