I have no idea as I've not seen the contract but I'm pretty sure King himself admitted there was a 7 year notice period?

 

Work contracts can be deemed null and void if a judge thinks it isn't fair for both parties, not sure if this would be the same though. Hopefully.

King is as bent as a two bob note, a convicted tax evader, a glib and shameless liar who happily rips up contracts that he did not personally sign, claiming that they are unfair.

So from the "information available" I'd say he's probably onto a loser with this one and is basically just bluffing his case to appease the masses.

 

He has a very valid point in saying the contract is unfair. 4p in the pound doesn't seem great.
