Moreno getting panned......Lawro on the BBC blaming Brenton for not signing a left back.....Didn't Klipperty have the whole of Jan to sign a LB if he wanted???
5 times in 11 years... Astonishing. Europa comes in for a bit of stick, sometimes warranted, sometimes not but with maybe Real, Barca and Bayern aside, I don't think there's a club in Europe that won't be envious of what Sevilla have achieved. Take my hat off to them.
Yesterday showed the best and worst of the PL in UEFA land. When you get in their faces at tempo, they cannot deal with it. When they get technical and do fast/continual passing/possession, we cannot deal with it.
Giving up possession cheaply due to a bit of opposition pressure or sloppy passing/control is a perennial problem with English players.
N'Zonzi must be regretting the day that he left Stoke. I think that he'd have made a decent signing for us, to be honest, especially at his knockdown price.
How did De Gea get in, when he only played four games in the competition? Did Midjjjjjjjjjjiland give him that much of a hard time?
Is it just me or is this a bit sad? The Spam begging Manyoo to drag them into the Europa League qualifiers by winning the cup. I'd actually understand this more if Southampton were the ones posting it, as they'd go straight into the group if Utd won. Can't see Palace causing an upset today either, to be honest.
Can not find any sympathy for Pardew losing the FA cup final as palace manager. He has proved his doubters very right since xmas...think it's now only 1 league win and 5 fa cup wins since mid December 2015. And he comes across as a really classless act on the touchline. Glad united won .... more chance of LVG staying on
RONALDO AT WEMBLEY TOMORROW Yes, Ronaldo, a magnificent Hereford bull will be at Wembley as mascot for the newly formed Hereford FC in the FA Vase Final against Morpeth Town. In 2014, due to a 'not fit for purpose' owner the club was brought to financial ruin and put into liquidation. The ground had been allowed to fall into a state of disrepair. Thanks to a wonderful supporters club and 4 benefactors the ground became ship shape and ready for action. The hard work was done by volunteers. They registered to play in the Midlands football league. Not only have they won this league and gained promotion to the Southern league Division 1 South & West but reached the FA Vase cup final and won the Hereford County Cup. So well done Hereford FC,( formerly United) in your first season back and well done to the fantastic supporters who raised so much money and done so much physical work in the stadium. You deserve your day at Wembley. Good Luck Bulls!
The Smug Git will be back in the PL next season. This, together with news of John Terry's contract extension, have combined to make this a thoroughly depressing close season so far.
Thoroughly good weekend so far. England trouncing Sri Lanka, winning the F.A.Cup (despite another typically uninspiring performance) and now the news that Mourinho is on his way. And the sun's shining bright and it's not raining
Looking forward to seeing Scholes et al sticking the boot to Moronho's tactics as they were with Van Gaalling's...
