Was having problems with my phone so there was a bit more on the end of my post. Taking some time out from the site after that I'll be back eventually. Not because of wums, not bothered by that I just want nothing to do with footy at this point.
BTW Ever Banega what a midfielder. In his prime I wanted him at United more than any other player. So underrated.
Their whole midfield bossed us. N'Zonzi won everything, Krychowiak patrolled the space and Banega the playmaker. Such a shame because their defence is poor and we really could have put them under pressure.
You can look for the silver lining fr all you like but this season has turned out to be a poor one. Yes, we've had 2 cup finals but ultimately we are left with nothing. All we needed was to put a half decent side for the last few matches and European footie would have been guaranteed. We cannot put this responsibility at no other than Klopp. He gets credit when we win but when we really mess up in the league with weak teams, he surely must take the blame. All the hype that he needs to bring his own players to be judged will only add more pressure on him next season. Fans need to be more realistic on what he can achieve.
I used to watch Banega's trickery when he was at Valencia. The fcker could find his way out of a hairpin with the ball surrounded by 3 players. Creative yes but he also has a lot of steel about him. Very difficult in a physical battle to dispossess and the vision to play a killer pass, and technically able on the ball. The only thing that let him down at Valencia was his attitude but I always thought that was the club's fault less so than his.
Understandable. Am gonna keep a distant eye on transfers etc but the whole prolonged affair of the window really pisses me off so don't really want to engage with it especially since everything interesting mostly happens on the last day anyway. They should seriously think about making it open for only a week, clubs get the business done quickly, close it. Boom. No nonsense. Having it going on for months is ridiculous really and purely motivated by financial greed
Trying to stay positive! Yes the lads let me down but thankfully my brothers dog has been found after going missing so that's cheered me up! Hope Klopp can bring in some players that he feels he can really improve and get the whole team playing his way, and then we can kick on from there. Clear out some of the crap too, I'm confident for next season, and that's down to Kloppo.
For what it's worth and to please the ****ers that come on here and accuse us of hiding after a bad defeat. We were **** and they deserved their victory, the team/squad tonight had a chance to stake a claim to be at the. club next season but most decided in the most important game of ours this season to go missing, yes we had our chances and the obvious pens weren't given but let's see and hope Herr Klopp sorts things out in the summer. Tbf still nothing on is vs barca in cl semi final when we had 4 handball pen shouts denied. Still though unlucky on the day should have finished then in the first half then agent moreno decided to mess things up. ..
