Good game. Obviously I'm glad you lost but credit to Klopp who has got a pretty **** team to a European final and, in the first half at least, they seemed to know what the game plan was. Long time since I've seen that from my United.

Sturridge is one of the most infuriating players I've ever seen. What a ****ing talent but he really can't be bothered most of the time!

If Moreno had done his job (defending), we'd not have lost 3-1

Believe it or not I actually like Klopp and would have had him at OT last summer without a second thought. I just try to be level with things, when you play well and win it seems it is Klopp's training/tactics or whatever that has improved the team and brought about the win. When you lose it's all "what do you expect him to do with Rodgers squad".
You can't pick and choose the games/performancies you want him associated with.

Fair enough, personally I'm not like that. When we win its down to both the players and manager, and vise versa if we lose!

Next year will be interesting for sure!

Unlucky Liverpool, you played well in the competition and I would have probably come on to congratulate you if you'd won tonight. <ok>

Obviously not, Coutinho, Firmino and Sturridge would have had much better points if it was :emoticon-0100-smile

The Snatch Squad has disbanded for the evening after that crushing disappointment ... I'll be having a couple of consolatory brews at home and staying up to watch the wrestling tonight ... at least the results are predetermined there

As for the match ... pure gash, utter ****e, totally disappointing, let down ... phrases like that come to mind

Thought we were shocking for most of the game barring that one moment of Sturridge genius, obviously the 2nd half was a lot worse than the 1st but we did nowhere near enough in either and should have further closed it out before half time, obvious penalty is obvious really didn't help the cause but we can't look to that, the players didn't make anything or enough happen on the night

This summer I wouldn't be sad or disappointed to see any of this squad go ... every single player has got big flaws and can be replaced with players who would do a better job given a window of sound business and negotiations in the next few months, we're in a **** position now given no european football and totally reliant on the Klopp factor to attract talent

Obviously Moreno will take most of the heat and rightly so, those two criminal mistakes that led to their first goal made all the very fragile confidence go out of an already very fragile defence and started the sinking, after that holes appeared everywhere, not that they weren't already evident across the pitch for me from the off.

Coutinho is a player I'm looking at here, his mentality isn't right, he's weak, a pussy, there's no fight in the guy and he goes missing, said before on here that he's a 1 in 10 player, to reiterate I would not be bothered if we sold him and any of the others

I'm personally pig sick of supporting this club right now, they're a constant let down as I said in the summation of the game, if they were terrible week in week out at least you expect it but it's all the flattering to deceive and then being crap that sucks, a lot of this squad thinks its way way better than it is, Lallana, Coutinho, Can, Moreno, I'm looking at yous ... you think back over the last 30 years and think what the **** has happened there, how's it got to this point. I wonder if Klopp in private even believes a lot of the stuff he's said about the squad and doesn't wonder why and how he's ended up sitting on top of a steaming, stinking pile of fetid manure

Lastly, congrats to Sevilla, they deserved it ... weren't great but frankly didn't have to be and got the job done

Coutinho would have been hooked well before Firmino on FM too

I blame Astro for already having us playing CL football and jinxing us :bandit:

One needs to learn to boast afterwards not beforehand.

Don't think we missed Sakho tonight, it was what was going on one side and in front of his position (i.e. Lovren and Toure who I thought were sort of decent given the situation) that ****ed it for us

I could be angry for myself but I'm more angry for a 9 year old lad that wanted to watch the footy with his Dad for the first time tonight.
I'm done with footy at this point, I can take losing when there's effort but I can't justify that performance, my boy just thinks we're rubbish and looked like he wanted to cry as he was so looking forward to watching us tonight.

If we'd lost by giving our all then I could talk him through that but there is no way to back up that performance.

I'm done for now perhaps I'll feel a little different once I've calmed down but those ****ers owe a young fan, those overpaid tossers who have no idea what it is to look at that game and wonder why there is such a lack of care or pride in what they do.

Sorry about that mate ... yeah your lad must be ****ing gutted. Feel the same tbh, this team doesn't inspire you to want to see anymore given what they put out a lot of the time i.e. absolutely zero

Well said - fans can pin point players but I'm just so disappointed with the spineless second half. Not one leader or one player who stood up.
