Lol I agree with MITO. Coutinho isn't that great in number 10 role. But put him in a diamond behind the number 10, and he's perfect. But there were so many poor performances. I'm really disappointed in the lot of them. The phrase 'lack of leaders' was especially prevalent tonight.

Second half a lot of players were absolutely awful, the way we conceded that goal 17 seconds after the break was atrocious. Moreno needs to learn to defend and fast seeing as he's a defender. Otherwise he won't be here next season.
For me the thing is as I said come out first 19 and make sure your clearances are good. The left full area was under huge pressure. We just came out never started. They went straight at left full and he failed to clear then jumped join and ****ed it. But from there we needed a pass and control. Never saw coutinho drop deep. Never saw him pass a few and try get in it. My view is he's bottled it totally. Milner and can never got any control of it. Never sat on cbs at all. Left spaces
Fair point - but even in the first half, I thought we could have got at them more. The midfield lost the battle and we really should have attacked them more because we troubled them every time we went forward. N'Zonzi won every ball
It's a single pivot. Milner runs away and gets in the way of those three tens. I like Can, but he hasn't the legs of a young Gerrard. He can't play three midfield roles at once. And when we play those three 10's we have the second worst tackler in the squad in Coutinho covering the worst tackler in the squad (guess who) and it's caused problems for Sakho all season. Surprised it took Sevilla 45 minutes to work it out: but we were ****ed once they did.
He won't be. He will not be first choice at least. I am utterly sure of that. At this point I am sure our ambitions have totally changed and this karius, Hector zeilinski level player is best we will see.
I agree. Moreno was horrific in my eyes. But Toure and Lovren was just as shocking. It was all just a horrible performance. Everyone bottled it.
