That's what he said after last night's game, I can't believe he said that, who does he think he is, it's ironic that he said last year that we were close to winning the premier league at the player of the year awards but he said the fans are expecting a lot, I really hope he leaves after the FA Cup final, I can't take it anymore, the football that we play is boring and slow.
Partly true. I genuinely think he'll leave of his own accord. With the modicum of dignity he warrants.
Slightly off tangent, but if he is looking for reason why the fans have no faith in him, here are two Van Persie ended the season with 16 goals in just 20 appearances and Chicorito managed 17..................if only.
Always said we needed at least one more striker and should have sold one fewer, and this was even after we'd signed Martial. Getting rid of van Persie was utter lunacy and it isn't even hindsight to say it. UIR knew differently of course, he doesn't listen to random old dickheads such as myself, Stan and Treble.
I very much doubt that he would leave on his own accord. Woodward needs to step up and be decisive. Jose is apparently now talking to PSG if that is to be believed. The way the club has been managed since David Gill left has been nothing short of disastrous!
Can't see it happening tbh. He's said Utd is his last job, no way he will walk out to be remembered as largely a failure. He will at least want to have another crack next year and try to get us further up the table, maybe win a(nother) trophy along the way if he gets the chance.
Better than being sacked and remembered as failure. Regardless of payout, if he wins the FA cup I can see him bowing out with some dignity having been spared the sack. Which he will inevitably end up getting sooner rather than later.
Yeah, he is really stupid for saying that. Of course fans will expect a lot on this kind of team. If he can't keep up with the pressure it is better for him to go.
As much as anything I think that one crass statement damned him really. Say anything else but that to the fans, try explaining that we had serious injury problems, try getting the message across that the side is still in transition and will be next season as we continue to integrate inexperienced youngsters with new signings.........tell the fans all that, but never tell the fans of Manchester United that our expectations are too high. What a moron, it just illustrates that he never 'got' our club, our culture.
New ringtone sorted. Can't decide which one to go with. http://picosong.com/BZDc http://picosong.com/BZDV
