If this was to be made fair, '83s scores would have been taken into consideration as an average during his 3 or 4 year (I can't remember exactly) ban I've analysed this statistically bearing in mind the fact that his scores were steadily improving in the 10 weeks before that ban, and it shows that, if he'd kept improving at the same rate (and there's now't to suggest that he wouldn't have), he would have finished on 397 points . . . . so he who lives upside down didn't really win after all Check the aforementioned stats and you'll see that I'm right

That's laughable. Using that theory Gordon none of would have to predict after 10 weeks as we could then just take our averages to the end of the season. My original predictions over the first few weeks saw me (I think) 30 points behind. Half way through I started to get the hang of things and started to amass some commendable scores which, using your theory would have put me well over 400 points taking that particular portion on averages. There were at times some extraordinary results which nobody could possibly predict (Newcastle's 5-1 win of Spurs for instance) which is what makes Prediction Leagues so unpredictable.
