Understandable really. They`re not going to win promotion, get to europe and win half a dozen trophies in the next 2 years without him.
Many of their fans took the piss when Sunderland fans chipped in for flowers for Advocaat's wife as a thank you gesture last season. The way the Mags are going on about a manager who has just taken them down is bordering on the ridiculous, and in my opinion is just another of their ploys to grab a bit publicity...Perhaps they would have been better for them getting behind him and his team when it mattered, because if the derby game through there is anything to go by, I can't recall a less interested group of fans in a Newcastle v Sunderland derby as theirs.
I think the Villa supporters called them clowns when they were relegated in '09. Newcastle supporters thought they would laugh at them back a couple of weeks ago. Before being relegated again themselves.
Can't see Rafa staying, meself. Once all the emotion dies down and a few tasty offers come in, he'll be tempted back to the light side. Anyway, how much cash will he have after Ashley just blew £80m and STILL went down? Those toe-rag players of theirs will certainly be on the blower to their agents, whilst making all the right noises to the mag fans... That said, wor Jack might be staying
I have a feeling he will stop but with a release clause still in place which he may trigger when a tasty offer comes in, possibly mid or end of season. If they gain promotion in style he may stop despite any tempting offers.
he will stay, but reading the mags board is shocking. It is like they have just split up from a girlfriend and pleading her not too leave them, so so ****ing sad.
Maybe he'll stay (that's what I think) with a relegation clause included . . . . so that if they are relegated he has the option to leave
