Yet based on psychic algorithims of energy expenditure , & heightened brain endorphins released etc, your still unable to connect with anyone on here.
Is that a double edged question.? Please hold, there seems to be someone else or other , waiting to reply.
Yes, quickly log out and back in as your alter ego. Keep taking the medicine - there's hope for you somewhere along the line.
PL rules state 10% or 3,000 seats for away fans whichever is the lesser. Apart from the plod in Hull having kittens at the thought of 10,000 away fans (look how many they need to police it now) are you suggesting the stadium be expanded to accommodate away fans? 10,000 away fans in a 35,000 stadium? Yes, that would give us a home advantage.
**** off Escab Im off to see the play off final Yeeeeees Last time in 2008 i was in st catherines hospice and weighed 7 stone and told maybe 4 months **** you dr death ( as i called him )
CC, I acknowledge your varying points and they are good ones. I'm sure there are are a lot of variables being able to be raised by public services whom attend on Matchdays , that have a say as to whether capacity is ever Implemented. The ground not being owned by the club, for eg, The PL rules on limits on stadium capacity. ( which I had'nt looked into) when i posted. I'm more in thinking of previous campaigns , that suggest that new tier levels could be built at the Kcom in the closed season to accomodate increased numbers for away fans. As City's successes grows, therefore so should optimism and positivity to think bigger and build better, that was all.
Nothing wrong with optimism but I don't think there has been any evidence of the need for an expansion of the KC. Certainly not with the current owners alienating fans. We may attract some people who want to watch the other sides more than City and who would disappear just as quickly. Meanwhile long term fans and potential young ones are being disenfranchised. As for away fans, only clubs who can't fill their stadiums have given away fans more tickets than they have to. The thought of giving away fans 10,000 tickets in a 35,000 stadium is ludicrous. Liverpool are expanding their stadium, West Ham will have over 20,000 more places next season, Arsenal moved and increased capacity by 20,000, Chelsea and Tottenham are doing similar. How many more seats will be available for away fans? Precisely none.
Thanks for staying with Idea of positive approaches. Indeed , I'm unawares as to how many away fans are allowed at each of the bigger clubs/grounds You mentioned on an away day match. Our home fans , seem to bearing the Brunt of backward looking Ideas, presented to them , by City's owners in recent years. Yes, hardly an Incentive to be a fan, let alone being a travelling fan from our fan base perspective. Name changes. Nonsensical Rants in the press. Seating re - arrangements. And now the Concessional fiasco. Your raised point of clubs, such as mentioned in your post , that have seats to accomodate increased Away fans numbers, should It be required, Liverpool, Arsenal etc, and not forgetting Man City/Man Utd. Yes the lesser sized clubs cannot / or Don't travel in those numbers of 10,000 + , reallistically, more often than not, I suppose those , clubs could travel with larger numbers to away day matches and grounds , such as Hull City. That is speculative, of course. I am not assuming 10,000 Chelsea would come to an away day in Hull. But with continued survival in that League, and continued matches against the bigger clubs, then capacity increases could be a consideration. Unlikely to happen I Know. An option is always preferable to a distinction.
Man Utd only give the 3,000 they have to. How many do you think Liverpool or Man City would take there? Arsenal only give the 3,000 they have to. How many would other London clubs take there if they could? None of the clubs mentioned have seats to accommodate increased away fan numbers. They can sell all their seats and are turning people away. They would have no away fans if they could get away with it. If you don't mind me saying your thinking on this is a bit flakey. Spending money so that more away fans can come here and encourage their team to beat us? Then poor results see home crowds decrease. The logical conclusion is a KC with more away fans than home ones. A bit like BP when Sunderland came here in the mid 1970s in their promotion season.
