Good Morning Everyone, Steve Evans was at the KC Stadium to watch the conclusion of Hull City’s play-off with Derby County last night. Whilst it is not quite clear who will benefit from his scouting that has taken him to Scotland and France in the last 10 days, he is to be applauded for going about his business without any fuss Evans' position may be clearer after today as Cellino has called a board meeting to discuss, in his words, the “plan for next season”. I wonder what else will be on the agenda? Bump off the FA Get rid of Steve Evans Sign some Serie B players Why is Cellino having a board meeting. Since when does he makes decisions by committee? Normally Cellino will make a decision, and anyone who disagrees wakes up next to a horses head Another item that may crop up are his recent charges regarding an alleged illegal payment made by the club during the transfer of Ross McCormack to Fulham. The word is that a payment of £185,000 was made to McGreedy's greedy agent to sweeten the deal. Part of the problem was that McCormack’s advisor, Barry Hughes, who is not licensed by the FA. Why have the FA JUST come up with these charges? How would they have found out? How can it be proved? Do all clubs do this? Are LUFC being treated unfairly?
Fl/Fa don't want Cellino involved in this country and who can blame them because he's as bent as Bates. harvey still knows a thing or 2 about bent people in football and will have heard whispers, especially about McGreedy and don't forget we have Haigh back in the picture trying to make a living in selling stories about Arab jails, being conned, I did nothing wrong guv, and his own meetings with Cellino's people. If todays board meeting is a waste of time or doesnt happen then next season is over before we start. If Evans is swaning around scouting players he knows either A) he has a job or B) he wants a job elsewhere and wants a list of available players to snap up
They've come up with this charges because they are a vindictive bunch of ****s and probably because they have to throw out the other case against Cellino and can't ban him...
Morning all. Re the board meeting, like it or not GFH have two board members and will have to be consulted re any major financial decisions for the coming season. So as much as some would have you believe, it will be likely more than Cellino just sitting around a table with his two sons drinking coffee. I wonder what percentage of transfers are completely above board. Given the huge sums of money involved, there must be a big temptation on the part of the agents. After all, its been going on since George Grahams time
Morning Eire, really well said. How many transfers if they were to be examined are completely above board?
Morning Doc, Cellino has more faults than we can think of but with the FA jumping on him at every / any opportunity, people will come to his defence.
All good thanks, in Cyprus on holiday at the moment, just checking in to see who we are signing and who the new manager coach is, should have known it would be nobody
