At Last Marcus, someone has got it right, it doesn't matter how good these players are or potentially are they should not be in this squad, those carrying injuries are a complete liability, and those without experience are just that totally inexperienced and a competition finals is not place to take them, look at Walcott he went to South Africa never kicked a ball and has been utter sh1 te pretty much since then.
Im not banging the drum for Defoe, I actually think for SAFC him staying at home is,a good thing, but we get these squad selection every finals and I cannot understand why managers keep taking these sort of players, mind boggling in my view.

If you are talking about club bias I would take Watmore over Sterling who is just gash! <whistle> 3 who are probably not going Rash ford, Delph (please god) and any one from Henderson, Drinkwater or Townsend.

Taking them where? Rashford is in a 26 man PROVISIONAL squad and he's the same age as Rooney was when he got his first cap.

    Michael Owen - 18

    There's probably loads more.

If he's good enough to start for United in a derby he's good enough to start for the shower of **** nation that has let us down with experienced players for the last 50 years.

How can you base someone's fitness on saying "he looks fit" <laugh> <laugh> <laugh>

And plus, if you had any clue about the game, when a player is unfit, you would know that it's not the brain that gets rusty, it's the rusty body that can't react quick enough to what the brain is telling it what to do.

A top footballers brain sets him apart from the rest of us, he will always have that, but needs to be fit for his body to react to what his brain is telling him.

Not sure about that bit mate. Sterling has looked real quality at times, but his consistency isn't great and he's been well off the boil for the vast majority of this season. Despite that, he still managed to bag himself a premier league hat-trick. Can't see Watmore doing that any time soon personally, I remain unconvinced by him...

You reel that **** off and still maintain you're not Wearside Pride? You said exactly the same crap under your old guise, yet it's no surprise given you have a history of forgetting what you've said previously.

You might not be able to ascertain the difference between a fit player and an unfit player by watching them because let's face it you're a ****ing dipshit of the highest order and you get around being a thick **** by attempting to generate your own facts.

A top footballers brain can't possibly be out of sync, let's go and tell that to Fernando Torres <doh>

You really are a ****ing stupid ****.

There's a difference between being an unfit footballer and a out of form footballer.

Fernando Torres was out of form, but he could run all day, the lad was fit.

If what I said in my previous post is wrong, find something to prove it's wrong.

    You won't be able to.

You're just proving my point you stupid rat ****.

I said he appears to be fit but that doesn't mean his mind is up to scratch. I separated the two then you come along and inferred that top footballers can't lose it in their heads, I proved you wrong with one ****ing example and now you're getting your megaphone out to shout from the rooftops about how ****ing dim you are.

Your denial only makes you look more of a ****ing prat.

So you think you can't tell by watching somebody if they look fit or not?

That's what you started crying about, a statement that I made.

I wonder how people knew if somebody was fit before all of the technology become available.

You also state that brains I.e mental state does not alter with prolonged periods of inactivity on the pitch, you infer that footballers simply cannot lose mental sharpness.

Splitting hairs because you've got beef with a kid, incredibly bitter and jealous, sad man.
