So this new takeover rumour

The Allams take 4% interest out of the club and will do until the debt is repaid or the club is sold.

I'm not saying he was right FFS. I'm just pointing out that the mad old bastards total desperation came from somewhere. Maybe he got a sniff and went 'full ******' over it.

Like the agent said there is lots of interest in China. Allam himself mentioned China as a reason to try and force the name. I'm not saying it was THIS specific deal. But Chinese interest in general.

The fact a deal nearly happened without a name change just proved his point was bollocks.

I can see the reasoning behind that thinking due to the timing as well.

 

FACT (you forgot to say so, therefore creating uncertainty)

 

We'll never know how close the deal was with the Chinese. And it's only speculation but maybe the name change was integral to a deal. A deal
that would have repaid Allam's investment in full plus some millions on top - maybe that's why he was so pissed off with CTWD.

But on reflection it was either the spat with City Council or the auction of the Hull City registration plate that did it

 

True but that agents words do confirm one thing. The Allams are seriously looking to sell and isn't just his usual BS.

 

Agents are full of ****.

He even said earlier in the same interview that he, the agent, bought and sold players which I thought was against third party rules.

Agents have one motive. To 'big up' the players/clubs they represent so that they receive a bigger cut of any future deal.

 

They are I agree, however if the Allams were not really looking at selling up why would an agent be bigging the club up in an effort to drum up a sale?

 

Perhaps because they're trying to stir up interest sell more memberships? Where the Allams, agents, Hull City, Hull media sources are concerned I won't allow myself to believe one word from any of them .............. I'm waiting for the ink to dry on contracts before I'll celebrate.

 

But what benefit do they all get apart from the Allams? It's not like the Allams have intelligence that is off the charts so they are able to fool everyone.

Also Allam Snr isn't well so I doubt he is involved at all ATM and Ehab always seems as someone who wasn't that interested. I can see him getting out first chance he can.

 

You're perhaps right, I hope you are ...... I'm far more cynical than you are, I'll stick with waiting till contracts are signed and sealed.

 

No don't get me wrong I'm not saying it IS about to happen, but I'm open to the idea that we ARE up for sale and it isn't just spin that nobody who should know better has figured out.
