20 quid is a bit excessive,a couple of quid fair enough. The reality is we only need a goal and their lights will go out
We would have if it was still a close thing on paper, I won't blame anybody for not going now as the match could be a dead rubber already and despite what some think not everybody has loads of money spare
Yes, but you won't know that until you go will you? I appreciate that some people aren't going for moral reasons, but anyone who isn't going because they think it's a dead rubber is a moron.
Harsh I reckon, the stats show it's never been done (3-0 come-back) and the bookies odds show 1 in 20 or 50 times they win so really it could be classed on those terms as a dead rubber although as a football fan I agree with you. There will be no Istanhull tonight I'm sure
I'll be intrigued with how both teams approach tonight. I'm sure we'll play the same team but will Derby go for it from the off like Brighton did last night (but tired second half) or will they be more measured in their approach? It's going to be fascinating. Hopefully an early goal for us kills them dead.
The Derby fans are actually using #Instanhull on their tweets about tonight. It aint over 'til it's over.
I think we'll set up the same as we did at their place, play the same game. I wouldn't begrudge Steve Bruce doing that, and it's most likely the right thing to do, but if it were up to me I'd throw the kitchen sink back at them.
The team that scores the first goal in a game wins 68% of the time. I remember reading that fact in a book on sports betting. I've no idea what the winning percentage stat is for the team that scores the first three goals in a game. But no it's not quite over especially as there's a full 90 mins left in this one.
The only stat we really need to bear in mind, is the fact they've already beaten us 4-0 once this season.
Tom Barclay @TomBarclay_SUN Beginning the voyage up to Hull for what effectively will be a non-event. Derby haven't got a cat in hell's chance.
