We had a crappy English manager not so long ago, his name was Chris Powell.

I think we will soon find out the magnitude of the job CP did when the season starts.

Lee Clark is my choice. He's pretty crappy, as his results at Kilmarnock show

I'd take Billy Davis, but you know he'll want total control.

Any idea who scouted George Moncur and then took the decision to 75% underbid for him?

What to know who's making preparations for our League One campaign @Royston Vasey. Is this going to be like #BlackpoolFC, where we only have five or six first team players a week before the season starts.

i wouldnt be surprised if they were scouting by asking the cleaners or caterers - they probably have more knowledge than the football manager scouts from the network. either that or carol fry is back doing his evening job.

we still have no released players list. clubs have finished the season after us and already released statements and released player lists.

I imagine Moncur was scouted in our game versus Colu.

Chicago Addick makes the very valid point today that all clubs are about to issue their 'released list' - who will be making the football decisions at ours <whistle>

Aren't the players suggesting players. Wasn't Jackson giving his opinion. This is risky as they would likely choose their friends across the football world, but at the same time signing Moncur someone the fans have heard of would be an improvement

Are we all going to hang on every word out of CAFC until the season starts now, or accept nothing will come ?

The Club has to announce this week which players they are releasing.

Could be a shocking list ....

I reckon we'll see a few opportunist players. They're going to think that they can bump up their wage by coming to the circus. Do you know what player we should be looking to sign... Scott Wagstaff. Proven league one player and will cut it in the Championship. Miles better than anything we currently have in that area.
