Since no one has replied all game then. Really good episode. To bod and mr know it all mito you happy that the blondie story has progressed after your lanenting of how she wouldn't progress at all. To the person who asked why they have burning things inside a wooden structure, normally the door wouldn't be locked from the outside. Not sure why the ground burnt so easily but not sure if it was prepped beforehand by the 2 soldiers. Also guessing the dothraki werent expecting the people to commit suicide by burning themselves. As for the sole giant, i think there were 2 more, at the very least 1 more but i think he died in the battle at the wall (trapped in the tunnel in the door which they blew up? ) Jons being a pussy Surprised ocho was killed off so quickly. Thought ramsay would have had a go. Suspect cersis plotting on getting the sparrow to take down the tyrells and lannisters. Wouldnt jamie or herself be the strongest lannister if the uncle dies?
Jamie should be the strongest now as he's Tywins heir. It's high time he takes that position now as head of the house.
Nah, Mereen is in slavers Bay, much farther East than Arya in Braavos. Braavos is on the Northern tip of the eastern continent
Jaime isn't Tywins heir, when you join the Kingsguard, like the nightswatch, you forsake all inheritance and titles. Thats why Tywin was pissed at Jaime in Season 4 for refusing the leave the Kingsguard, because it meant Tyrion would inherit the Westerlands, which Tywin didn't like the idea of one bit. Technically Tyrion is Tywins heir, but he is an outlaw, so then it would be Cersei, but a female heir can often be challenged by her father's male sibling (ie Tywin's brother Kevan), and as Cersei is Queen Dowager, it would make Kevan Lord of Casterly Rock, but Kevan's son Lancel is part of the Faith Militant so cannot inherit from Kevan, so it would then revert to the oldest eligible male in Tywins line, which is Tommen.
Really good, I'll never use bechemel sauce again. The salami and egg make a huge difference to the taste. I used a sweet chilli sausage that I sliced and added to the layers as per instructions but will tweak that next time. I'm going to remove the meat from the sausage skin and fry it seperately and then add to the layer.
Cool. To the italian side of my family, "Bechemel" is a swear word. When I first met my wife she told me that she put Ketchup in her Bolognese sauce, I almost laid the pimp hand on her.
haha I often do that, make it last a few days The reason for the egg is exactly as you said, it does something to the sauce flavour, also thickens it, its basically the Bechamel substitute except Bechamel tastes like arse, and is French swill. I think that's why Italians take offence to English people putting it in their lasagnes, because you are taking a french sauce and arbitrarily sticking it into an Italian dish. It would be like adding mayonnaise to your escargot.
I love lasagne but have always hated the bechemel and use little of it to the frustration of Mrs luv but she also enjoyed it with the egg. Do you slice the eggs? As with the sausage I was thinking of tweaking by mashing the eggs to get a more even layer?
alos. 1. stabby stabby... did you guys not see the conveniently placed dagger in her reach. ramsey was testing her. If you missed it i think he stabbed her as she got the knife and she dropped it as the apple corer went in... so it might be construed that she failed the test... or he might always have intended to do it. 2. burning ground. it was a large dish of hot oil. the ground didn't burn the oil was on fire and spread out and that's what torched the guys.
I loved it but will defo try that next time, mash the egg and fry the sausage meat out of the skin to get more even layers. I might make another one on the weekend.
Plus I think the ground was covered with straw which will burn pretty fast. I think Ramsey was always going to kill her, Reek/Theon had already told him about how Osha had seduced him in order to let Bran and Rickon escape, he knew she was gonna try it. Was a shame to see Tonks go, I liked her They have already dubbed Jon vs Ramsey as the "Battle of the Bastards". Like I said before there are plenty of other houses in the North who haven't declared for Ramsey, such as House Horwood, House Reed (Meera's old man who saved Ned at the Tower of Joy), and House Mormont (who is being led by Jorah's aunt I believe). They are all traditionally Stark loyalists. Bolton has traditionally the larger of the Northern houses on his side in Bolton, Umber and Karstark, but Mormont, Reed, Horwood, plus 2000 Wildlings (including at least one giant) and the Littlefingers Knights of the Vale, all combined should be able to turn the tide.
I am just worried about Littlefinger, his goal for now is to aid Sansa and liberate Winterfell with the Knights of the Vale, but he is one shady motherfucker, lord knows what is endgame is.
I've always thought that while he probably doesn't want to sit on the throne itself, he does want someone he controls. Ultimate aim to be hand of the King? But who can tell, his motives are ridiculously unclear.
