Looks like lots of long journeys next season, with only Swindon and Oxford being in the same time zone! So with Walsall looking like staying in L1, and Plymouth getting through to Wembley there's a chance of a couple more games within reasonable travelling distance
You mentioned Walsall who are around 90 miles away. Coventry is around the same distance I think. Shrewsbury aint too far away either, maybe Northampton too who aint that far further than Oxford But yes, mainly long trips. Glad I dont do away games
2 different experiences. I remember we were 2-0 up within the first 5 minutes and I think Lambert was captain if my memory serves me correctly We won 5-0. I also remember in another game getting humiliated and at half time my car load walked out and went home. It was 3-0 to Walsall at half time and it was by far the worst ever performance I had witnessed. This was my 1st ever game I walked out early. We lost 6-1 in the end and Walsall were bottom of the table at the time I think.
Yeh we did get a bit of a battering!! But it's a pretty straight forward ground to get too. And you can be back in the pub at a decent time to drown your sorrows after that kind of hiding!!
